Just wondering.... This could not be possibly that seller who has done this to other vacuums on ebay, painting them a different or or trys to match closely. Someone on ebay painted a Blue/Gray constilation, does anyone remember this? I know one of the club memebers on here explained to her how...

My vacuums still look wonderful... Sadly, my vacuums are still in storage due to my health issues right now, so I can not take pictures of them but will when I can. The same gentleman that polished Fred's Kirby, also did mine almost 30 years ago and still look great as when they were frist...

One more thing to add... I see it also has the instruction sticker on the belt lifter still intact. My Dual 80 that I have with me has it on the belt lifter as well, one of three 80's that I have. To me it is a great find when you find a Kirby 561 and up that will still have these stickers on...

Great Find Fred ! ! I have had this machine as well. Mine came from Roger Prohel. I then exchanged it for something Rob Castaldo had. So Rob, did have one like this machine. I wished I would have not traded it away, because it was cool looking. I used to have an ad for this machine.

I have a question about this.. Do you have to have the lense infront of the head light, and does this do anything with suction? I had one on one of my 28's and a cleaning lady of mine used it one time and she broke the lense. I was told that the metal hood was also used for commercial use...

I have this particular machine. It was a gift from Clay and Dennis. It is a really great vacuum. I am missing a few things like the wands they are the ones with the white clips to hold them together.. But I have another GE I borrow them from when I want to use it. David

I am not sure but... There were other names this vacuum went by. My parents had a Firestone that was dark green and looked like this as well, all we had that I remember was the crevious tool and the apolstery tool, we cleaned the cars out with it. There was a tan one in one of our newsletters...

I have another question... Did the Hoover Convertibles, have all the matching machines to go with that color shceme? Like the slimline and the well...I can get to mine see the kind but the Hoover box vacuum that held everything in it. David
