Tips and advice for selling vacuums on ebay

Great tips everybody thanks @alexb1186 I seriously didn't know that fedex likes to charge by dimensional weight.. So let's just say for a 12"x12"x12" box, round up to 14"x14"x14" and put 75 lbs even if it weighs 35 lbs? Is it worth even investing in a postal scale? Do you also figure in...

    Seller: Incredivac on ebay

Thanks Rob, very true..yet then again no premium vacuum that you buy online (ebay especially) will have a valid contract/ warranty.. He claims that he received them as "gifts" which he has no need for and selling them brand new in an unopened box, which he has no pictures of other than a...

    Seller: Incredivac on ebay

Hey guys just curious, has anybody dealt with ebay seller Incredivac? I've asked the seller questions regarding a vac and seems pretty vague in his responses despite a 99.5% rating. Has anybody done business with this seller?

    Hoover windtunnels

Good to know Bryan, that model definitely had a good run. It would make sense to still keep parts in production

    Hoover windtunnels

I have had my Maroon colored Windtunnel Self-propelled since 2004. It's been a daily driver all these years and is still going strong; however it's been making a rattling noise when the vacuum whines down.. could be needing to change the roller again, or possibly another issue. With this being a...

    Vacuums at my Goodwill

I agree, at that price, they're practically just giving it away to you (the prolux)

No more corded vacuums to be developed by Dyson

Me personally.. I hate anything cordless just as much as I do bagless.. In my experience, cordless vacuums are weak, lousy at cleaning, a waste of money and have a short life expectancy unless your willing to keep paying for expensive batteries. Um no thanks! My corded vacs will keep chugging...

Bagless cleaners are better than Bagged cleaners.

Would like to see how one would use a central vac "freestanding". Don't they need to be properly vented? .. Would it even be possible to use an electric hose to use a powerhead since you dont have the actual inlet (in the wall) plug installation?

    Aerus/Electrolux uprights

@ human, you've definitely found some good deals there. I agree, I like the way these machines look without having the tools on board. It even cuts down on the weight and some people just don't use tools regularly enough. @panasonic, thanks I didn't know that. I was thinking that the suction...

Eureka web site is totally gone

Sadly, anyway you look at it, (like Hoover) Eureka pretty much will never be what they used to be. They are no longer leaders of innovation. They are simply followers of Dyson and Shark. As far as I'm concerned it's almost as if the company doesn't really exist anymore

    Aerus/Electrolux uprights

Hey all, I've been curious lately to learn a bit more about Aerus/ Electrolux uprights which I haven't paid much attention to until now.. There's quite a bit of talk about the Lux Guardian Platinum and older Electrolux canisters, but I don't think I've heard all too much about their uprights...
