I think the ones that are the most forgotten about are not the ones sold from department stores or doot-to-door but from vacuum shops. With businesses declining and competition increasing, it's no wonder we lost many good brands over the years. Royal, Panasonic, Bosch, etc.

I did something similar with my other Kirby Ultimate G I used to have connected to a Ridgid wet/dry vac in a wood shop just for fun. It was WAY too powerful. So much suction was sealed onto the floor that makes it harder to move and the belt always stops.

I spoke to John Van Leuven a few weeks ago who's the CEO of SEBO USA, and there aren't any new models coming out anytime soon at least not here in the US. He mentioned that some of the models like the Felix could use a facelift, but the only thing new we've already gotten from SEBO just recently...
