    Kenmore models regained headlamp?

Transforco and Cleva are two separate companies. Kenmore only buys or leases from manufactures, always has. They never made anything themselves, at best they just helped design. Same goes for Shark.

    Weird Kirby Mattress cleaning contraptions

That's interesting Reminds me of the old Oreck/Halo machines that didn't sell for very long cause they were hit with a lawsuit which claimed their ultraviolet light didn't work.

    Hoover Legacy series (Duros)

From what I heard, these were built by Sanyo.

1991 Hoover Elite II Square Hood (MINT)

I'm not too crazy about Elites but that's one of my favorites cause of the color. And this is the first one I've seen with different logos on the outer bag, could be an older variant.

How good are Kirby Carpet Shampoo Systems/Portable Shampooers at cleaning carpets?

I think they're fine for scrubbing the carpets before steam extraction. But it's not something I'd depend on entirely. Personally, I'd prefer a commercial scrubber or at least a floor machine like a Kenmore/Koblenz cause they can get a bit closer to the edges.

What OSHA regulation states that commercial vacuums need to have 3 prong cords?

This is technically for safety reasons. The National Electric Code Section 406.4(D)(1) states that any grounding path must be grounded. Prevents of electrical shocks, fires, or malfunctions. Especially if being used outside or on wet surface areas.

    Kenmore models regained headlamp?

Yes But they also own Sears as well. Transformco was formed to acquire the assets of Sears Holdings Corporation when they went bankrupt in 2018 so it's technically still Sears. Unfortunately that didn't last for long as Sears went bankrupt again in 2022. From my understanding, I've also read...

    Oreck Badged Silver Knight

That's interesting Neither have I. I'm also familiar with the one luxlife shared but didn't realized they were actually Whirlpool machines, I know Oreck got their upright design from Whirlpool.

    Kenmore models regained headlamp?

Their red BC4027 has had a headlight for a while now, and the purple 22614 hasn't gone anywhere. Not to mention the Titan versions have headlights but they're LED now just like the Cen-Tec power nozzles. Anyways, that white model appears to have a King Clean made nozzle. Terrible choice if you...

    10 Amp Sharp?

Yes There was a green Panasonic I'm pretty sure was a MC-V5370 and a blue Dirt Devil Swivel Glide Vision I'm pretty sure didn't had the performance indicator.

    Kirby Accessories are kinda weird

They started doing that a couple years ago. But my local Costco never carried any. It's the one they've been working on back in 2009, there's a seperate thread about it. They also had another different prototype back in the 80's. But that's all I'm aware of.

    Kirby Accessories are kinda weird

I agree with Edgar. Unfortunately I don't think things are looking very good with Kirby. As I've said before elsewhere, there's a reason why Scott & Fetzer sold off Kirby. There's also a reason why they're allowing them to be sold online and through big box stores like Costco. There's a reason...

    Most unpleasant-sounding vacuum ever?

The ones that come to mind are the early Bissell Little Greens like the 1653 or the 1720 and the Dirt Devil Ultra hand vac. I don't like using either machines as the result.

Working Kirby Classic III - as-is, or I can rebuild for you

I recently reached out to Kirby cause I was mainly curious on what the quote would be now for non original owners, they actually aren't offering that anymore. Only for original owners. Either they kept getting so many Kirbys in for rebuild that they were behind or my best guess is they got...

Does anyone have, or even ever heard of this???

I wonder if this didn't sold for very long because Bissell already had Little or Big Green as their trademark and was told to remove it?

    Kirby Accessories are kinda weird

I'll be honest, I hope Rexair will still be around for many more years to come. They've made some of my favorite vacuums. I've read that part of the reason why Rainbow has been on a decline is again they've got competition. The Prolux CTX for example reviews on Amazon are saying consumers are...

    Kirby Accessories are kinda weird

I agree about the metal fans, I've seen how much it improves the performance. From my understanding and I'll say it again, Kirby won't release a new model unless it's proven to be better than it's predecessor. I'm sure by now Rexair has regretted not taking Kirby's example. I've read somewhere...

    free FITLER QUEEN 700

Very nice! I love Filter Queen, it's like using a shop vac for inside the house. Same with Rainbow, Silver King, FairFax, Numatic, etc.
