Definitely the E3 Premium, that is in my humble opinion the best portable vacuum on the market today. It's like the most perfect canister ever made. The K3 is also a good choice but the E3 has some improvements that were addressed over the K3 so I think it's worth the extra. Only thing I do like...
According to the site, it comes with a filter and disposable bag.

Vacuums aren't designed to vacuum up fog, you could try but that's better reserved for a air purifier. This proves my point that the fog test from Vacuum Wars is misleading, what I'm looking for is what I can't see with a naked eye and Bill proved that to me with a particle counter. Not a fog...
Commercial buildings have a filtration code unlike residential homes, they shouldn't be a problem for commercial use.
Commercial buildings track in more fine dust that'd easily plug up the pores on a disposable bag, definetly a problem for me with going through a ton of bags and run out of...
Anyways returning to the topic
I've seen one person do this on his Classic Omega bag. I originally thought about doing the same thing on mine but then later decided against it. But it was a cool setup nonetheless and think that this can be done easily with just about any shakeout model.
I agree Rex. I used to clean for a local furniture store and they had two vacuums, one bagged and one bagless. I had to buy and change the bags out quite often on the bagged machine, and I had to clean out the bagless machine often. Both of which became very annoying. So I donated a couple of...
This appears to have the same outer bag as my Kenmore version. Such a shame that Kirby aka Scott & Fetzer at the time decided to discontinue those Douglas machines along with the other vacuums they've sold as well in different brands like Oreck.
I don't own much commercial vacuums, mainly because they're hard to find them in decent enough shape for me from all the abuse. But there was a few I had that still to this day I've regretted ever getting rid of. A Royal 10 amp metal upright, a Sanitaire SC899, and a Simplicity Sentry III 5500.
Probably a Chinese company like Midea would be Kenmore's best shot at keeping the brand alive. Similar to Craftsman, they could still contract Cleva and other companies to still make vacuums for Kenmore. But honestly, I'd rather have Kenmore to be history. Again Kenmore isn't the same as they...
Very nice!
And no scratches on the machine, this could easily be polished by hand:) But if you ever wanted to go crazy, this user on another thread explains how he polishes his Kirbys and other aluminum machines for a really nice shine...
Yes they do add weight to the machine with tech drive, in fact my grandparents grew tired of carrying their G4 as a result. But I did founded a solution to that and I simply got them another G4 for the basement. No more carrying up and down the stairs. Even one floor apartments shouldn't have...
Actually now something just kicked in, I think there was one more vacuum shown in that video. I seem to recall it was like a Bissell bagless but that one I don't remember much anymore.
Nice
Certainly a central vac is better than no central vac at all or even a portable. Good thing you stocked up on a whole bunch of bags cause they've since been discontinued. In fact all parts for the VX series are no longer made except for the motor, they were just so bad.
I had high hopes...
There's a Power model currently listed on eBay. Interesting enough if you take a closer look as the headlight leans, that one is more wider but curved on the edges. Whereas if you take a look at my picture, it's not curved just like on my Boss Plus. This is the second Bravo II hard case model...
I agree that they should change a bit with how they're selling Kirbys nowadays. My grandparents were "forced" to give up on their two brown Kirbys for a G4 back in 1994 which I didn't like. But if it weren't for that, the G4 probably would've not been my favorite tech drive Kirby. Retailers...
