So, my sister is moving to Arizona, and me and my wife decided that we would be the ones to take her out there. Keep in mind I live on the eastern edge of Indiana, so quite the drive! Can't pick up any sweepers yet, as we still have 12 hours to go, but on the return trip I hope to find some!!

I've noticed I don't really have a sweeper that I specificly use more than another. Sure, I have an Avalir and a Sentria that I could use every day considering how new they are, but I don't. I try to keep all my machines in operating condition, of course there are always a few that need work...

Well... They can clean pretty well, but that mesh between the chambers clog up almost instantly, and of course the pleasted filter was another problem too with clogging up quickly on its own. I actually managed to salvage one from being thrown away. New brush roll, belt, and filters and it runs...

I like the color Very nice yellow! They seemed to have made those in alot of diffirent colors. I saw an XL one time I wanted really badly, it was a baby blue, cutest thing. Sadly, it wasn't for sale, it was being used by the shop owner :/ . I've only owned one oreck, it was a 'signature'...

On the subject of perma filters... So is it supposed to be washable, hence the name 'perma' or was that just a cheeky name they gave it?

So they have their ups and downs So some are good and some are kinda meh I take it. I've seen some people really like them, others not, so I guess it really depends on what model you're going for.

What's your opinion on Hoover Windtunnels? Bagged, bagless, any model.

Dysonman1 I think mine may be that perma filter. It's pleated, but it has that wierd slanted plastic top on it, which unfortunately for me is much more exspensive to replace than say a standard f1 filter lol
