    Compact C6 found today

What would you do? I never considered a Compact/Interstate/Tristar in the past. I've just never had a connection with canisters (sorry Mike). This little critter changed my mind. Stuck in a corner of an estate sale garage, next to a big pile of boxes. It probably would have been in the...

    Compact C6 found today

Estate sale find today. They wanted a lot - settled for $30. Pretty clean. I’ve read that they are solid. Wow. This thing is built. Swivel coupling on hose leaks air a bit, but cloth hose is good. Not many miles on it. Missing the upholstery tool. Maybe I should mail in the warranty card.

vacuum collectors convention at the museum

Who is attending My first trip to the museum last year was a BLAST. I'm leaning towards taking another trip this year. My wish list is finding a decent Airway 55a, nice connie, and maybe a Shark. Scratch that. No Shark.

    Snatched this up at goodwill

Not necessarily true... I do understand that I might have a minority opinion on the matter.

    NIB Royal Power Team

Royal vs Airway Hi Tom. Does this Royal give your signature Airway a run for it's money as far as power / suction?

    What is this

Not really You'll find them for sale on Ebay fairly often. Sellers think that they are "rare" and "collectable". I've seen a couple listed for over a year. They don't understand that a conversation piece wall hanger is maybe worth $30 -$40. In completed auctions, I've never seen the...

    The most abused (commercial) vacuum?

You want to talk about abused? Sanitaire that I just pitched at work. Was used in a shop to pick up steel shavings from walk in mats for quite a few years. Sat in a closet for years. Shake out bag was hopelessly stuck and not coming off. Bottom third of the bag contained a big chunk of...

    Coolest cake ever

It appears that the handle and second tier base are probably plastic. I thought that it was so cool that the baker incorporated a "dirty floor" cake for the vacuum. I can't imagine how many hours that took to do.
