Personally I just use the generic 1 1/4" flexible crevice tool widely available from your favorite wholesaler.

If you want to Frankenstein zimbrano it. You can take a central vacuum bag conversion kit to it. Or install a bag dock of your favorite HEPA machine. Personally I would leave it as is and just don't daily drive it unless you feel like emptying it.

@niclonnic I'll be very clear about this when I publish my review video later. But my understanding is the differences are Brush roller stiffness, color, warranty. @tolivac I don't see how anybody could justify paying double for the oreck version now.

@jo here's an older comparison video between different styles of tools. This squeegee tool really is one of the most versatile hard floor tools out there.

I personally can't stand Shark vacuums. You hit the nail on the head they sound horrible. It might be worth preserving one for a collection since they generally don't last more than about 6-12 months. But I wouldn't expect to daily drive it.

@niclonnic Thanks for sharing your experience. I too recently got one of these in the form of a Hoover. Have to say the idea of a cordless Xl-21 vacuum is fantastic!
