    Wstonehockertv Interesting! Thanks!

    Bissell Lift-Off Hybrid Pet.

This is a machine that I got a few years ago off of Craigslist. From what I've gathered about it online, I think it was a Khol's or Bed Bath and Beyond exclusive. It also apparently once came with a shoulder strap for the main unit, a bare floor tool, and an extra set of filters. Anyways, when I...

What's the consensus on 90s and 00s Eurekas?

Compared to the other big box brands, Eureka is one I've probably got the least nostalgia for. I've only owned like 2 of their machines, and have used some of my school's Sanitares a handful of times. I've been toying around with the idea of getting some 90s and 2000s Eurekas, but am not sure...

    Forgotten Eureka Products

There's also thing thing. The Eureka Toolbox Vac. I don't know much about it, but it seems to be a sort of Toolbox with a small built-in vacuum included. Very neat concept, but I can only image how well/practical they were.

    Forgotten Eureka Products

Basically anytime Eureka has tried to get into the deep cleaner market has failed, with such machines being the Dream Machine uprights, Dream Machine Lite, Atlantis, and Atlantis express.

Dangerous Toxins Found In Black Plastic

Also, So basically this is saying that even just black plastic being scratched or chipped can expose you to bromine!?!?

My recent find, a Hoover ultra self propelled windtunnel model U6425-920

I used to have one of those. Got it for free from a vacuum store, and.. well, I got what I paid for. The self-propel cable was busted on it, it had a horrible case of the Hoover lean (to the point where the handle release couldn't support the machine well), it's idler pulley and brushroll shut...

Filtrete Bag, Belt, and Filter finder

Found an old relic from my childhood over the summer. I remember studying this thing vigorously (and by that I mean looking at the cool vacuum pics) when I was younger. For some reason it just popped up at my local grocery store once again, the vacuum aisle now being much different than how it...

    90s Bissell Packaging

By chance, does anybody have examples of the boxes and literature for 1990s Bissell vacuums or carpet cleaners (I.E. boxes for the Pure Air, PowerClean, Plus, Powersteamer, and Ryobi-made Bissell uprights)? We know what the 3554 Lift Off's packaging and lit. looked like, thanks to the NOS ones...

    Are "lift-off" vacuums overrated?

My Opinon. I wouldn't call them overrated, more-so oversaturated. Here's a fun drinking game, go out to your local Walmart and take a shot every time you see a Shark Lift-Away or Lift-Away knockoff in the vacuum aisle. I think it's a good concept, but the plastivacs have done it to death. There...

Had these ideas floating around in my head.

I've really taken a liking to the Bissell Velocity bagged vacuum. I think its kind of cool that it's a bagless Bissell converted to use bags. I've also taken a liking to the Powerglide Platnium, mainly for the fact that it's a bagged Bissell with all the bells and whistles of a bagless Bissell...

    Dirt Devil HEPA bags?

Blackheart I can't tell if those are paper or cloth.

    Something crossed my mind.....

PanasonicVac I'm not sure what you're talking about when it comes to Maytag machines being uncommon. There's still plenty that pop up online (bagless stuff included). Also, I guess I should've also clarified that Maytag has also made some stinker bagless machines, but so has TTI. However...

Got a weird backpack vacuum today...

Thevacomaticiec OOOOh..... so THAT'S why it fired a blue and orange particle stream that destroyed my house instead of it picking up debris.....

Got a weird backpack vacuum today...

Took a trip up to New York recently and saw some guy doing a garage sale in the city. Among the piles of stiff was this thing. I ask him about it and he said something about how you shouldn't "cross streams" with it, whatever that means. I got it for... well.... the price isn't actually that...

    Something crossed my mind.....

PanasonicVac Ok, sure, maybe TTI has made some decent commercial machines, but that's that just the commercial side of things. For every good machine they've made, they've made like 3 different types of bagless vacuum. Granted, I can't really speak on behalf of their quality, but them being...

I've got 2 model 103s and an Ultra from around this time.

    Forgotten Bissell Products

PanasonicVac Oh, well that seems a bit more reasonable... but not by much. That's like if Coke were to sue Pepsi for selling cola flavored pop. Sure, they're both the same type of pop, but they're different in their own respects. As long as Ryobi wasn't copy+pasting the Elite design and using...
