    Mark go for it for power nozzle. I think the original rainbow pn does every well. I used the kenmore pn wasn't impressed how much it pick up dirt. BUT I bet those pn with VG 3 will beat more on carpet than rainbow pn. I may wrong, it should fit prong just right with no problems

    Mark wow thats impressive. I guess do need change water for 25-30 mins.I change the water when it gets light brown/tan color. Mark Hows your water your house? I bet its softer than my hard water since my water comes from well not from city. lol

    Confused about newer Rainbows

    I have no problems with my gold rainbow. i say all rainbows are reliable. Oh yeah one thing the blue and newest model can use electrical hose for wet pick up. I had to get wet pick up handle parts in order to use the aquamate3.

    I think the unit motor has the same power only unless I'm wrong. like u guys said the gold series no insulation, blue and newest model have insulation and different computer housing.

    Why Maintain a Rainbow?

    I guess some people are lazy to change the water and clean the separator. I do change the water often sometimes I noticed when using low speed the water vaporize for over 30 mins needed to refill the water basin before vacuuming.

    dwhdarren97 I don't think so be electrical problem. AM3 is Double Insulated like the pn. Yes with aftermarket cord, strap it to wet pickup hose, connect one end to the vacuum and one end to the AquaMate3 be fine. You don't have to worry about water going to electrical cord. @floor-a-matic...

    dwhdarren97, floor-a-matic I was thinking u all don't need buy wet pick up handle and all extra parts. I have a better idea. use your wet pick up hose and strap with Rainbow Nozzle Extension Cord used back in for D3 D4 to power the pn to power aquamate3. That way u don't have to modify the...

    Mark lol I learned from Aquamate 2 saying clean the solution bottle and use warm water to flush soapy water for pump.
