No the suction motor has never been touched and im pretty sure the dc14 only has one motor and an clutch belt system. :-(

This being my first kirby,it has given me a very good first impression. I took it around the living room carpet twice (ahh the new vacuum bug :) ) and it feels as soft as when it gets scrubbed. And yes me and the guy at vacuum shop are friends, so I get some good deals from time to time.

i think that a hoover constellation could be a good choice because of the fact that the canister is floating on it own air.

so recently I was looking on amazon and saw a vacuum under the great vacs name, and wanted to know if anyone on here has had any experience with them. They sorta look like one of the small simplicity vacuums (jack,ect) so tell me what you know. Thanks,Mark
