    Electrolux Intensity

eh It's been my experience that it's a good performer but probably not quite as powerful as one may expect it to be.

    New Rbow SRX power nozzle

Photos Unfortunately I cannot remember where these originated from another collector sent them to me. I'm glad to see they've return to the previous design while I did like the new brushroll design and the agitation it produced it was just unfortunately a poor performer. The pn12 nozzle used on...

    David Oreck

oh wow. Not many live to the age of 99 we should all be so lucky. While some of their vacuums were certainly divisive in the collector community the original style 4 amp machine was respectable, decent performance in a very simple and light package. We later had more powerful machines like...

How did bag-check indicators work on direct air vacuums?

depends It could be using the motors speed. as the bag clogs the motor would be spinning faster due to lower air resistance. Or if we're going old school it could be like the dial a matic (yes I know it's clean air) where the bag check indicator is mechanical. the flowing exhaust air keeps the...

Dirt Devil Plus 8 gallon wet/dry vac

Ask and you shall receive. Sounds like you may not need it anymore but just in case anyone else needs it.

Dirt Devil Plus 8 gallon wet/dry vac

Filter I used a shop vac branded one in it. I just cut away some of the bottom of the retainer to allow a wide washer to fit I figured it would be better to distribute the pressure. I then obtained a knob from a hardware store that fit the nut on the filter cage. As for bags you can get them on...

Really surprised by Platinum Force Hand Vacuum.

ha cool One of my childhood friends family bought one of those and I got to try it out. I thought it was the coolest thing with it being able to detach from the main body but still run the brushroll. It's a neat little unit but I'd assume cost is the reason for them going to turbines on future...

    Ridgid NXT Backpack Vacuum

ah I saw those a while ago and didn't know of the connection between the two. It's a great price for the machine though at about 250, sure the tools are pretty cheap but those proteam backpacks have great power.

    What do you think?

    Dutchtech motor

Hmm....maybe? Doing a search for it It looks a lot like the motor that's in my Nilfisk GM80 I wonder if the replacement motors for those would be compatible? perhaps someone else can chime in on this

If you could design a vacuum...

    Hmm That's....definitely not a wessel werk ebk360.

If you could design a vacuum...

A modernized MVP ultra I know i've talked about this before but if i were to design a vacuum I would base it off the Dirt Devil Ultra MVP, some of you may wonder why. This vacuum has the most airflow at the nozzle of any bypass upright i've tested. Running around ~130 CFM but they suffer from a...

Is this Oreck vacuum cleaner rare?

Nah I wouldn't call them rare when searching for the black 2 speed Intelleshield model I ran across many listings for those single speed models.

If you could design a vacuum...

Hmm? I'm guessing you must have a separate ebk360 that you pair with that?

    Bissell BigGreen Commercial BGU1500T & BGU1800T Uprights

Huh... that's quite surprising. They need to do better with their website though have you seen that description? it's certainly not the pictured product "Compact Scrubber Drier is the perfect machine for cleaning hard floor surfaces ranging from the roughest to the most delicate. Its...

    Delphin T8 new model

Hm Yeah that is interesting. I can't help but think that would also make the basin a little more of a pain to clean though it just seems....unnecessary

    Sebo Cordless SoftCase BP60

well TBH not entirely certain of it, but i think so. I thought the motor would be on the side opposite of the intake initially due to the placement of the airpath but then i looked a little closer at the schematic and it appears that the fan attaches to a pulley. I'm curious to see how this...

    Sebo Cordless SoftCase BP60

How bizzarre Looking over the specs it appears this corded version has a rating of 57.2 CFM. Looking over the schematic it looks like these have a very unusual setup. I think that the fan is run by a belt. Cool that it uses a geared belt though.
