The 2-speed switch was first used on Model 750, but I do have a 725 which has a single-speed arrow-ended switch. Here's the arrow-ended 2-speed switch on my 800.

Hi Walter - unfortunately, I didn't take any pics or video of the head itself, so I can't illustrate the point, but it's sealed internally in a way former floorheads weren't, so there's no possibility for air-leaks.
