    Hoover 28 restoration project

My newest project is this 1949 Hoover 28. Has original bag. Backwards though hah Just picked it up. Few scuffs but nothing that can't be buffed out of the hood. No cracks or gouging. The base is scuffed with paint but should clean up very well. Bag will be carefully hand washed...

    My rainbow collection grows

You have one of the most beautiful rainbow collections, Tom! I adore mine as well. Nothing performs this well with this low of volume and filtration. Can't be beat! My only issue is with having a cat and two German shepherds, the hair becomes a bit of a mess in the water tank! But I generally...

    Thermax help needed

Wow I almost grabbed a rinse n vac off of craigslist. Old green thing with yellow tanks and had about 6 wands. Unfortunately the seller never got back to me. Would have loved to have a true carpet extractor in my home. Especially for my car EDIT here the machine is. Going to try and contact...

    My rainbow collection grows

Lovely machines! A d4se is on my wish list for sure. I need to give my d3 and e2 a spa soak like you did. Both are beautiful machines just a bit dirty

    My rainbow collection grows

Picked up an E2 blue to add to my collection today. This makes two rainbows in my current collection. My 3rd overall e series I've had since collecting. This one must have been sold only as a straight suction machine as no power nozzle or electric hose was included in the box. It's pretty...

    Thermax help needed

I am curious as to if these machines are actual carpet steamers or do they function like a Hoover carpet cleaner? I'd love to find an in home carpet steam cleaner for heavy duty cleaning. I really need it with two German shepherds and party animal roommates haha.

    hoover 26 curb find

Would love another 305 model. I had an all original one. Don't know what I did with it. Back a few years ago when I had 3 model 28s. I loved the hood on the 305 the most out of that style.

    hoover 26 curb find

Very nice find there! Actually quite rare. I've always wanted a model 26 and a model 25. two of the most elegant machines of the era. Little scratched up, but with some elbow grease I bet most of those scuffs will come out

Have I converted to the dark-side with Hoover vacuums after the VCCC

You'll have to share how you shined up the bases and bumpers and the technique to Polish the holds!! Beautiful machines. The befor pics look just like the basement of a local vac shop filled with hundreds and hundreds of dilapidated old vacuums.

    Hoover Model 925

My most wanted machine is a commercial 925 or 900. I'd trade my whole collection for a nice one as its one machine that if I possessed it consider my collection complete! You got a score even if it's a little wonky. It can be made beautiful again with just a little love

    3 nice kirbys

Nothing wrong with a factory rebuild! Sure it's not original as it was new. But all genuine parts my 512 has It was rebuilt in the 60s and again in 87. Still have all the original paper work from each rebuild and purchase receipt from 1952.

Already for this years Convention so so excited!!!

That's why I like being a fur. Lots of different groups of us but we all get along together at cons all over the many times throughout the year. Some cons are smaller around 100-500 people and some larger at upwards of 7,000. Always a great time. We all just gotta learn to love each other. I am...

    My Kirby's

Looking great! Funny story I actully met Alex here at the local Kirby store by complete coincidence. I was dropping off some generation series machines and trading for a rainbow d3 and he came in with his omega sans bag. Got a good deal on an excellent original bag!
