Recolored Spectra? It looks a lot like one of the Spectra uprights.

    Hoover/Oreck Canister Wheel Needed

Wow! The parts availability for this seem to be awful! the schematic I found on partswarehouse doesn't even break down the main canister it just shows it at one unit. I checked Essco.net which only had categories for a few pieces, no wheels to be found. Other than finding a parts donor one...

Strongest cordless upright yet? Karcher BP

Right I can't remember much from the high school physics class either. but yeah in this setup you have the same rpm but he larger circle will have a longer path You both understand this but to help others, probably younger members grasp the concept here's an example. Unfortunately I can't...

    Sebo Softcase CE12 in USA!

Overdrive! So I saw this video on youtube which showed the interior of the battery model which does use a larger gear to overdrive the fan. I'd assume it's similar on the corded model but the lack of schematics doesn't allow me to confirm.

Strongest cordless upright yet? Karcher BP

After the testing of the Corded Ranger 12 it left a few of us wondering how the cordless version would fare, now we have an answer. The Karcher Sensor BP has the most airflow of any cordless upright so far. This mistreated specimen was measured in at 68.85 CFM more than some corded uprights...

    Sebo Softcase CE12 in USA!

An excellent question I don't have an actual answer but just speculating there are multiple possibilities 1. a clutch setup to prevent damage in case of a fan jam 2. overdrive! like the inverse of gear reduction where you would sacrifice torque for increased speed. 3. Placement. Maybe they...

    Shark advice please?

YUCK! That sounds revolting! is it worthwhile to work on it? With it being that dirty i'd be concerned about the motor bearings and whether the brush end caps are in ok shape.

Another monster, cordless, and some misc

Once again my friend Josh and I met up and exchanged some machines. He picked up this massive windsor wave 28 as it was in his area. It's a 28" 3 motor machine (2 suction 1 brush) Quite a bit heavier than my Bissell direct air 28" vac. He also sold me a Riccar Cordless upright he had picked up...

    Shark advice please?

Hmm I'm unsure if these models used the security torx screws, I don't think they did but I may be mistaken, if you do need bits for that you can get them at like harbor freight or order a set online. Beyond that there's gonna be screws hidden under the two front wheels pry the wheels out...

    Screaming Eureka World Vac Victory

That's an odd sound. I'm not sure what the issue is exactly but it sounds really weird, could be like Barry said it may have something stuck in the fan blades.

    Quantum upright

I've got one It's....a mixed bag IMO. It's the easiest to use of the water machines being an upright and it's airflow is the strongest at the powerhead of all water based machines i've measured so far. As others have said it really does need some sort of after filter, the build quality is...

    Cleaning out the storage room

Probably not He doesn't work for that vacuum store anymore, hasn't in a few years now at least. It's also changed hands I think the daughter of the former owner now runs it.

    Another one followed me home

Hepa bags I hadn't heard of a compatible bag for them till now. My mind went immediately to the U/L/O bags. The connection is just a little looser than the original Type E but a layer or two of tape around the bag tube would tighten that a little.

    Tristar CS motor

    Hmm If it'll fit I'd choose the 115923 I think it's a stronger motor.

NSS M1 bag tube replacement ideas

Well I went and bought another M1 since I finally have the space for it. It's unique design makes it a good collection piece IMO. Anyways the leather fill tube has holes in it again. Seems like almost every one of them I've had has had this issue. In the past I've used a piece of Kirby wire...

Spotted: Dust Devil variants (dirt devil)

Many years ago I had a red deluxe version and then recently I came across and bought this clear and blue deluxe version. They feature a retractable brush and a crevice extension, a nicer dock, and a pleated type filter. Then today I saw a non deluxe version which had a different filter that was...

US market Nacecare NQ 100 Quick

Sure It is expensive but not totally out of line when the latest gen5 dysons are around 1k. I like the idea of a bagged stick vac I've considered importing a Gtech Pro 2 at times. I also thought about getting one of these Nacecares but I strongly dislike Kingclean who is the current...

    Mosquito vs ProTeam

Yeah I would agree that the mosquito has a durability advantage over the supercoach pro fewer pieces to it as well as that pigtail staying in place when using the cord channel which should mean one less piece to wear out. I just feel that the proteam is more user friendly. I cannot help but...
