    Henry Quick

The Henry Quick I ordered about a month ago arrived today. Attached are pics of the unboxing. I also have a Miele Triflex but was unhappy with the small bin capacity and having to clean the filters every time the bin was emptied which was every 2-3 times that I used it. The Henry Quick uses a...

    Eureka Hose

I agree, the short straight end is good for above the floor cleaning, car interiors, etc. but no way would it be comfortable to use with it inserted into the straight wand for doing the floors & carpets.

    Eureka Hose

Whenever I have seen these hoses, I have never seen any curved part that snaps onto the hose. In the ebay listing, there is no curved section either.

    Eureka Hose

I saw this listing on Ebay and have always been curious....why did Eureka make the hose end without a curve or without the top wand being curved? How are you supposed to vacuum the floor or carpet with a straight hose end? Gary...

    Bunddle

Oh ok…I never even noticed that extra dusting brush. I saw the dusting brush in the compartment on the vac and I knew that was the correct brush….I thought you were saying that the rug/floor nozzle was not correct. Gary

    Bunddle

Rugsucker, Not sure what you are talking about with reference to the rug/floor nozzle...it has the proper connector for the wands. I had a model 9000 and had exactly the same setup as in the pics. And the dusting brush, ulphostery nozzle and crevice tool also have the proper connection. Gary

    Eureka Empress II

The Empress II is the heaviest vac that I have in my collection. It is heavier than a Filter Queen and the Rainbow D with water in the basin. Gary

    Compact C-2 Storage Ottoman

Were Eurekas in the late 50s, early 60s ever sold door to door? The reason I ask is that my aunt owned a Golden Crown rotomatic and she had the storage ottoman to go with it. I have no idea where she bought the vacuum as this was in the mid 60s when I was a kid. She lived in a very small...

    Elux-O-Matic

I have the '89 and where the handle is placed is actually very smart. It makes it very easy to stand the unit on its end and your other hand is not free if you are carrying the hose or other tools. If the handle was further to the rear so that the unit would be parallel to the floor, it would...

    Gleaner?

I use the standard rug nozzle on my model '89 to clean the carpets in the utility room and the staircase to the basement. It is a berber carpet. I have to set the cleaner bar to the smooth side otherwise it catches on the berber carpet. Gary

    Some kids get it.

When I went with my mom to visit her friends, I always checked the closets to see what kind of vacuum they had. My mom was the only one that had a Filter Queen, a couple had Electrolux and 4 of them had the Rainbow Model D. All had canisters...no one had an upright.

Miele Triflex Cat & Dog Unboxing

Brian, No there is no hose available. Luxlife, Hepa filtration is on the Cat & Dog model (the one I purchased) and the HX1 Pro (top of the line) but it is not on the lower end base model. The base model also does not have a headlight on the power brush and the brush roll speed does not...
