The NEW Decade 80...I mean Royal CR50075

@bob I haven't seen any of these metal Royals branded DD, please send a link next time one is on auction. @everyone else- I haven't taken anymore pics as I have been sick with some sort of flulike crap all weekend (karma for my abrasive attitude). As soon as I am able, we will have some...

My Kenmore Canister Power Nozzle has an issue

Twist the plastic cap (wire nut) and it will unscrew. Secure it around the new wiring by turning it to the right and it will screw onto the wires. The black connection may need a wire nut as well, unless your new cord already has a "plug" on it. If it does, plug it in place of the existing...

The NEW Decade 80...I mean Royal CR50075

If I remember tomorrow, I'll get a light shot. This is the 6 amp motor and it has a great wind up and wind down...like the old days.

The housing and bottom plate- you can see the two LED lights in the front. You also get a glamour shot of my big toe and dirty Rainbows.

The NEW Decade 80...I mean Royal CR50075

Ok for all of you Decade 80 fans/Royal Fans...and TTI haters for that matter. TTI has finally done something very interesting. They have re-badged a Hoover Decade 80 as a Royal. I finally got a chance to play with the machine today when they released them to dealers. Its not horrible..its...

    TTI Vacuums

Ouch???!! Actually...we are 2 years apart in age. Speaking of shoes, I'm going to put myself in your shoes when I respond to you now and I'll try not to bring anymore of your 32 year old bitterness out... No, I can actually order and sell Orecks...but I choose not to carry them because as you...

    Red Commercial 2 motor upright

i'm not sure how many of you have access to vendor magazines or sites, but some of you may have seen these in vacuum stores. It is called a "Commercial 2 motor upright" and comes in the color red. It's a knockoff of the Electrolux commercial upright. Anyone have any experience with these?

    TTI Vacuums

Karl...three questions: 1) Why would only Fred disagree....I'm sure others do as well? 2) Why are you only part-time if you are a "top seller" or is that a name you have designated for yourself? 3) At what point did I say the TTI takeover was a good thing?

    How Does a Rexair Work?

Mark... Those Rainbows that I pictured had very musty smells coming out of them. We usually throw a basin of some neutral scent under them after the service job to fumigate them. Sadly, normal people just don't treat their Rainbows like collectors do....

Electroluxxx- let me restate my equation. Cheap Vacuum+careless user= short life :-)

    TTI Vacuums

I have no clue what the smell is- but I'm also a licensed mortician and definitely can tell you its not formaldehyde. That's a very unique smell and will chemically burn your nose. I'm sure there is some sort of phenol solution in the plastics. Someone mentioned before, there are several...

    TTI Vacuums

Brian- I am not that familiar with the way CR runs things. Thanks for clearing that up for me. Portable- Come in one day when we get a trailer full of Hoovers...nothing beats that "fresh from China" smell.

    TTI Vacuums

"dragged through the dirt" (pun intended) Those puns are only allowed to be used once every two weeks...I think that one was recently used. :-) TTI has come out with some great products lately and are rolling out later this year with some even better products. Dirt Devils from the 90's did...

    TTI Vacuums

TTI is very good about warranty support. Most of the warranty work on the cheap Dirt Devil machines is negated by people not changing out the filter and voiding the warranty. We send many a sad customer home with a bad motor in the Dirt Devil Reaction upright (my least favorite). I think the...

Oh, Eureka Experts! I need your help.

We do those all of the time.... Take ONE nut off of one side. Remove that cover, you may want to run those covers under a wire wheel for good measure. After you pull out the bearing casing, take a set of pliers and remove one brush strip. Replace the brush strip, being VERY careful that it...

    Recent Electrolux Finds

Those are in great shape. My second favorite color scheme is the "Special Edition" color. They had the canister and upright in the Special Edition. I wish they used that color scheme on one of the 1500 series metal tanks. My favorite is the mauve colored Marquise tank (same color as your...
