So I have a 2003 dirt devil featherlite bagless in a dark green color and it's a much better vacuum than the dirt devils from today. However it's needing a new brush roll because the original one is noisy so I was wondering if anyone has a spare replacement one I can buy. Thank you.

Huskyvacs, I did how that worked since yesterday. I tooked a pair of pliers and twisted and pulled out the cord and just gave all the plastic parts a spa treatment.👍 It really needed to be cleaned.

Now how do I take the cord off?

I did it! It has a unusual rubber gasket twist design to take the motor off .
