I remember that episode, I think it might have been one of the last in the series. I don't recall seeing Samantha doing any vacuuming after the house was remodeled and shag carpeting installed. Lots of scenes with the dial-a-matic sweeping the green low pile carpeting.

Any suggestions on repairing the Rainbow floor brush so the bumper does not keep coming off? We primarily have bare floors on the first floor so the brush is used frequently. Thanks for your help.

No bashing of the Dial-a-Matic was intended by the statement in my last post...just a weak attempt at humor given the two very different carpet styles used on the early and later sets of Bewitched. My grandmother's DAM worked just fine on their paneled living room with medium shag carpeting.
