    Hoover fans, need your thoughts...

I worked in an Oreck store for a few years and we sold some of these rebadged Orecks in candy apple red. It was very attractive, but cheaply made and usually came back within a year for something or other. It wasn't cheap either although can't remember what they sold for. I hated the way the...

    Hoover Model 28

Yowsa... That 28 is in great condition! Someone really took good care of it. Yes, the cord is a replacement, but ask around, someone might have an original available. The bag is a replacement, but genuine Hoover. The 28 is from the 40's, and someone on here will know the production years.

    Childhood Household Vac Acquired!

Congrats Corey! That's the only other model I've seen with that particular handle style other than my mom's gray 5.5 amp Eureka. They must not have used that very long. That looks like a pristine machine!

    My first Aerus!

That looks like a great replacement hose! It's nice that you like your Aerus lady, but $200.00 to take it apart/clean/reassemble sounds like a real gouging to me. I know things cost more on the west coast, but geez.

Sorry I missed your call today.... I am so proud of you for bettering yourself and your family, because you will all benefit from you being in a better place! Collected a Kenmore Elite 31150!

An absolute steal! I love the design. I have what I think is the first model that was direct drive. After I bought it, I found a brand NIB brushroll for it, it's one of my favorite clean air vacuums, a pleasure to use and does a great job.

    Hoover 728 $30 OBO

That was a good vid and nice of you to make it. I think your asking price is very reasonable. If I didn't already have one I'd buy it. That is one of my favorite later convertibles, and it does sound good!

    Door to Door Vac Prices

That sounds about right Will. I used to "know" a Kirby salesman back then who used to come into the restaurant where I worked. First I bought a Classic for my mom, just the basic attachments and I think I paid $185.00. Then when the Classic III came out, I sold her Classic for what I paid for it...
