My Return After A Long Hiatus & Why Bagged Straight-Suction Canisters Are Awesome

panasonicvac That part is true. Besides, the bag is mostly the filter.

What vacuum cleaners do you think will be forgotten in the future?

All the cordless machines will be forgotten because there's nothing with a power cord.

My Return After A Long Hiatus & Why Bagged Straight-Suction Canisters Are Awesome

Don't they make HEPA filters for the Bissell Zing?

Correction, that's a Dirt Devil identifying as a Royal.

    Hotel vacuums.

Let's not forget wet-dry vacs in hotels. They come in hand for unclogging toilets and for other areas in the hotel that lack carpeting.

My Return After A Long Hiatus & Why Bagged Straight-Suction Canisters Are Awesome

At least in the Mighty Mite's defense, one can swap out its included bare floor tool for something that will not scratch hardwood flooring. That's the benefit of having an inch and a quarter fitting. The Bissell Zing benefits most from HEPA cloth Simplicity Jill bags and I don't notice the...

A little pet peeve I have...

Let's get one thing straight, shake-out bags and bagless vacuums means you are making a deal with the vacuum devil. Would a water filtration vacuum be any better than a shake-out bag? As long as one reads the ENCLOSED INSTRUCTION BOOK, using and maintaining a water filtration machine is not...

Bissell Quicksteamer Plus Model 1950 (FAIL)

Well, at least Hoover does sell a machine that is on the same level as the Quicksteamer, an upright spot scrubber meant for small areas. Do you think TTi can do what Bissell does not? #makehoovergreatagain

My Return After A Long Hiatus & Why Bagged Straight-Suction Canisters Are Awesome

panasonicvac You're not wrong there. A Eureka Mighty Mite or the Hoover PortaPower commercial canister might be better as they do not need cord reels and their bags are bigger. Hell, they have shoulder straps, so no need to wheel it around. I'd also include Oreck's compact canister or...

25 Years Of The New Millenium: Vacuum Edition

We do know that 2025 marks 25 years since the year 2000 hit. What were Hoover, Bissell, Dirt Devil, and Eureka all doing in the year 2000? What products did they put out that year, alongside redesign or discontinue? Everyone knows that at the time, Hoover was owned by Maytag, Dirt Devil wasn't...

Not to worry y'all, at least the used market will have plenty of these machines.

My Return After A Long Hiatus & Why Bagged Straight-Suction Canisters Are Awesome

Hey guys, it's been so long since I last posted on here. I've been so busy IRL. I live in my own apartment and I own a Bissell Zing bagged canister. With a set of high quality attachments and cloth HEPA filtration bags, it's an awesome machine. Best $80 ever spent.

    David Oreck

David Oreck, a true legend. I'm glad he made it to 99. He almost reminds of Billy Mays in a way. At least we still have James Dyson, even though Dysons are very overrated and overpriced machines that don't deep clean well.

Robin Williams Owned A Hoover Elite?

The Hoover Elite is from Mrs. Doubtfire, which stars Robin Williams. It has me wondering if Robin Williams owned an Elite machine himself. I wouldn't know because he's been dead since 2014.
