    Ok Guys I need some Eureka help!!!!

    I have a beautiful 50th anniversary 260 Eureka upright, It needs bearings, here is the problem, You must have a Eureka bearing puller , the one with the fingers on it, to get that top bearing out from down inside that cooling fan,,,I can not find one of those bearing pullers anywhere????????

    oh yes 30s thru the early 60s Birtman designed uprights were great machines.you do know they invented the rear plug in hose converter 10 years before Hoover came out with it.

    The whole idea Behind the Ken Kart was it was easy to store, and in postwar small tract homes, like Levittown, storage space was at a minimum, this design let the vacuum, hose and all attachments to take up a minimum of space.

    Take out the brushes Dissassemble and like Reggie said, run it thru the dishwasher, it will be as clean as brand new!

    Grandma still has Rainbow after all

    Rainbows Hold up only as well as they are taken care of, if the owner is very particular and a fastidious person, they last as long as anything, but if they are a hit and miss type of housekeeper and don't go by the book on cleaning and maintaining it,,,they wont be around long.
