Has anyone else ever owned this hooover ?

Rainbowvacfane2 The bagless tempo came in a white model? I know a few yeas later they made a white bagged tempo but did not ever see a white bagless. Was it the white Fold Away sold at the time?

    Bagged Lightweight Shark

I saw a photo online of a Shark vacuum from the 00s Euro Pro era that was a bright blue and basically a rebadged version of the Cirrus Lightweight, was kind of cool looking actually, but like most Euro Pros super rare. Does anyone know what model I'm talking about?

    Forgotten Hoover Products

broomvac That was a Hoover sold in the US in the early to mid 2000s as one of their cheap end models. They came in bagless and bagged configurations and had several different names such as Preferred, Sprint, Spirit etc. Around that time there was also a bagless in similar price range called the...

    Bagged thrift store sightings

broomvac Bought the same one at a local thrift store last year!!!! Awesome performer, use it for the rug in the master bedroom. Old Hoover Elites are unbeatable.

The only video of this Hoover online

I never thought I'd see someone showing it off, or for that matter hear what it sounds like, but I FINALLY found a video of someone with the Hoover Sprint U5025!

    Forgotten Hoover Products

EvolutionClean1 Ain't that the truth! My grandmother had a Hoover Fold Away Widepath and with a decent amount of maintenance and care, the vacuum ran strong for 10 years! Good upkeep goes a LONG way!

    Forgotten Hoover Products

Dont exactly know how uncommon..... The green translucent version of the Widepath seems to be harder to find many pictures of on the internet compared to the Red and Blue (which I think were sold at Kmart and Sears respectively but I could be wrong), which is weird because the green version was...

Where do people get off with their prcing?

CORRECTION I shouldve explained it better. The price would be like $300, someone would put in a max of like $310, and it would go back and forth over time. So at the last minute I put in about a maxbid of $330 and not even a second later SOMEHOW, out bid with a maxbid of $350. Not enough time...

Where do people get off with their prcing?

I dont know if this compares but...... Someone listed a NIB 12 amp Hoover Caddy Vac (White model) for upwards of three hundred dollars and something about it seemed fishy when I was bidding the price. Like someone had preemptively set prices to outbid other potential buyers. Like I'd put in a...

    Shark Trailblazer

Huskyvacs I saw a Roadster bagless once. But the early 00s Euro Pros are indeed hard to come by. IDK what changed when they introduced the Navigator, now you see those and everything afterwards around every corner. Definitely a bizarre change.

    Shark Trailblazer

I left this on the rare Shark vacs post but wanted to make a post solely about it, since I found out about it only about 3-4 years ago and saw one of these surprisingly in a Savers around Christmastime. Anyone here ever have this? I like the dark blue of it and it looks like kind of a cool...

    Ahhh. remember when......

For instance.... The Maytag Hoover era was filled with quirks and flaws but the innovation was still there and genuine. No 2 products from the brand were the same. Windtunnels, Elites, Fold Aways, Twin Chambers, V2s. Bissell had Powerforce, PowerPartner, Healthy Home, Velocity etc. What does...

    Ahhh. remember when......

Huskyvacs How true this is. You can't even go into a store now without mistaking everything else for Shark or Dyson. And even then, the Hoovers, Bissells, and ESPECIALLY Eurekas have sort of went down? There wasn't many Hoovers the last time I went to Target. Vacuum stores and thrift stores are...

    Ahhh. remember when......

JustJunque And that's what makes this site so great. We share our passion for vacuums even when we come from different eras in vacuum cleaner history! It's awesome when you think about it. And I don't want to speak for others but I think some of us can agree, whether we reminisce over seeing...

    Ahhh. remember when......

When I was little we had a local store chain called "National Wholesale Liquidators" that unfortunately went bankrupt in like 2007-08. They would have stuff new in box that was discontinued a few years earlier, like the 7 amp version of the Hoover Widepath, before they switched to 12 amps. One...

    Ahhh. remember when......

Vacuum cleaner aisles at the big box retailers looked like this and it wasn't just Sharks and Dysons or brands mimicking Sharks and Dysons? Good times.

    Rare Shark Vacuums?

This is the only real photo online of the Shark Trailblazer. This actually popped up at a local Savers around Christmas and I had a temptation to get it. The only thing that kept me from doing so was the numerous reviews of early Shark vacuums having an overheating problem. Anyone know how...

    Rare Shark Vacuums?

This is unusual I think in the UK they sold most of what we knew as Shark in the US under other brands. Don't know what the brand is but it is the same exact machine as the OTHER Shark Spectra in a ruby red. This IMO looks better than the silver.

    Hoover Dimension in Red

convertible18 That one is pretty elusive too! Definitely among the more uncommon with the preferred bag housing and the caddy vac powerhead. Most likely sold around the same time as the Dimension above so circa 2002-2003. One of the very last elites with the 12 amp motor before they were...

    Hoover Dimension in Red

Hold onto this!!!!! For a first Elite find you struck some gold! Thats IMO is one of the rarest Elites out there. A super elusive machine. I saw one like that at Walmart EONS ago, and the translucent red looks really nice!
