Im just really surprised as all

In all honesty I never cared for this machine as a kid. I always liked the soft guard bagged models the best. I only really liked this one variant because of the color. We got the Fold Away back in 2003 which is almost identical. That machine I have a ton of nostalgia for, saw this photo on...

Im just really surprised as all

panasonicvac The more I look at it the more I see there's actually no proper seal under the lid where the canister disconnects from. What were they thinking adding no seal. Same with the direct air twin chamber, no seal!!!! But perhaps that gets a pass because it was literally the FIRST EVER...

Im just really surprised as all

Amazing how insanely difficult it is to actually find any of these types of Hoovers. Granted all the bagless systems have their flaws but were these REALLY worse than the also flawed Twin Chamber and Fold Away units? With good maintenance my Grandmothers Fold Away actually lasted her 9 years! I...

    What exactly is the difference?

On a side note Hoover made a vacuum STRIKINGLY similar to the Mighty Mite and had it under several names (TurboPower, Portapower, Tempo). Dont think its as versatile as the Mighty Mite though (like the MM's blower ability).

    What exactly is the difference?

Other than one having wet pickup as a feature, what's the difference between a portable wet dry vac (like a 4 gal) and something like a Eureka Mighty Mite? Mighty Mite, like a shop vac also has a blower feature. Might sound like a stupid question but was always intrigued by this. What type of...

    Forgotten Hoover Products

Hoover Professional Series (Windtunnel) Came across a picture here of it on this site awhile back. Really nice ruby red color. Anyone have anymore information on this one, or if it's still available anywhere?

    10 Amp Sharp?

panasonicvac The Boss Superlite I indeed remember for sure! For some reason though, I keep thinking there was also a second yellow vacuum. Could be faulty memory though.

    10 Amp Sharp?

WAIT A MINUTE.... Could it have been an Altima? Or one of those styles of vacuums, like the 4D??

    10 Amp Sharp?

panasonicvac I couldve SWORN it was something yellow, which is why I initially said Eureka Maxima. Could it have been a Hoover Tempo bagless??? It was one of those generic 2000s bagless units I THINK.

    Which Eureka Boss is this?

Paul Yes you're right! You worded it better than I did. The "power" on that machine is centered, while the one in the photo I linked is more to the left, implying its power something, most likely power plus. Rare Eureka I'd say!

    10 Amp Sharp?

Panasonicvac Now come to think of it, I DO remember the Bravo in that video along with the Elite and the Superlite. I just can't remember what the other two or three from his collection were in the video. But I remember him having videos of alot of the ones you mentioned! Do you remember the...

Does anyone have, or even ever heard of this???

Ive seen maybe two photos of this Dirt Devil on here called "The Green Machine", its a Pro Series model in a nice Forest Green. Whats the rarity level of this particular machine, and why are these so hard to come by? Anyone here on the forum have this particular model.

The verdict is in: SHOCKINGLY AWESOME

Lesinutah Not all modern dirt devils, but this new line is way different.

The verdict is in: SHOCKINGLY AWESOME

Lesinutah We can agree to disagree. This is based on experience with about 4 or 5 Shark vacuums since 2014-2015. Every Shark I had would start strong and then about a year or two in would noticeably drop off in power, and that's with frequent cleaning of the filters. It has hepa filtration and...

But this machine is like... If the older swivel glide vision bagless vacuums were alot more powerful.

The verdict is in: SHOCKINGLY AWESOME

wstonehockertv I was actually thinking if I came across MY FAVORITE Dirt Devil, the Swivel Glide MVP, I'm definitely picking it up. We had the plum colored one circa 2005 and it was awesome!

The verdict is in: SHOCKINGLY AWESOME

Huskyvacs Honestly genuinely shocked. 2010s Dirt Devils looked like the worst of the worst vacuums ever produced. Even stuff like the Endura/Powermax werent so well received. This is them going back to their roots with improvements made. And the design being so reminiscent of the old school gen...

The verdict is in: SHOCKINGLY AWESOME

Not to mention... The plastic I'd probably among the most durable and rugged feeling of any Dirt Devil I've ever owned. They're back on their feet with the Multi Surface line.

The verdict is in: SHOCKINGLY AWESOME

I saw this earlier this year and thought it looked like an OK vacuum. Reminiscent of old school Dirt Devil. This thing impressed me even more than I was expecting. Filtration despite not HEPA isn't bad at all, no sneezing fits like I've had with other brands. The suction and airflow is...

    Might get this for Christmas

panasonicvac A rebranded Oreck XL Classic Dirt Devil Featherlite. First off, how cool it would be to reintroduce the Featherlite name after the 2010s junk they put out. Secondly, a red featherlite with an Oreck platform would be INSANE to see. I'd love the bag to be a BRIGHT red though, not...
