    Hoover 541

Look.... I just saw your listing for this on ebay, Yes this is not a rebuild, but it is not worth $300.00 even if it were in mint condition. There were TONS of 541's sold at the time, and a lot still exist. Yours is pretty rusted out on the bottom, and the brush roll looks near unsaveable.  You...

    Hoover 541

Let me help you here..... Your Model 541, made between 1923-1925 is a one that has NOT been factory rebuilt, just serviced by a service center at one point. Those of which you have seen that state "previously Reconstructed At Factory" are one that were traded into Hoover dealers, sent to be...

    NIB Regina Housekeeper Plus

Very nice! Please show the rest of the paperwork, I see a Electrikboom ad included with the manual. =) Also, does the box, or any of the paperwork bare a year or date? (I thought I would re word that since we have had a lot of "Dating"jokes, LOL....)

Hoover 105, 700, 725 or "I can stop at any time"

Post some pics of the machines them selves....=) One owner Hoovers, or vacuum cleaners of that age are a treasure all their own! It also is generally the case because they were cared about, then they are cared for. I found my extremely nice Dirt Finder Hoover 750 on Craigslist, complete with a...

How to date a Hoover Guardsman.

Spencer.... Hoover made after 1987 can be dated by the first 4 digits of the serial number. So in this case 0899, equals August of 1999. I can tell you right now, just by looks I can tell you its not from the 1980's.

    Hoover concept u4203

I can tell you... No they do not, However, they do have the screwholes where the sockets screw onto the machine body. So you could find a one speed model with headlights and convert it.

    Eureka help needed!

if all elese fails, I have a correct colored machine end for that. And then you would just need to find a metal Eureka hose end, any one would really work, even from a later 80's Princess. Eureka used that same chrome hose end with the black suction bleeder from that period of time, all the way...

    Vintage Eureka help

Here is my early Eureka. This was the model before yours. Ironiclly it came from your part of the world..lol. Also ironically, this year it was moved back into the kind of home it was pretty much designed for. Mine has been restored, and bares a replica cloth cord. The machine next to it btw...

    Brandywine Eureka cordaway

That cord reel was made by a company called..... Cordmatic. They also produced cord reels for the earlier luxes (meaning the XXX, and LX, LXI), as well as the first Hoover Portable with cord reel, before Hoover began to make them in house.   My recommendation, is to just find a real nasty...

Need help identifying this OLD upright

I think is a... BeeVac, made by Birtman Electric. But not 100% on that. That 2nd 700 is a really good find! Beacuse it has the orginal cord and Hoover plug intact. If somone would be able to find a orginal bag (which can be done, just takes time), then one would have a all orginal 1926 Model 700.
