    1985 Kenmore TOL Twin Fan

Actually..... Huskyvacs, its not push button. The speed on off is the two way slide switch on the back of the handle, and the speed control on the front of the handle is not push button, but a slide, much like the TOL Kenmore canisters from the early 90s. You slide the tab up or down to...

    Kenmore Horizon Find.

actually they were a.... Whirlpool product, and it dates from 1959, 1960. The Saturn was part of the same line but either one above, or below the Horizon.

    1985 Kenmore TOL Twin Fan

I have never seen this upright before except maybe in a catalog once. I know is part of the 1985 1986 line, not only does it have a cord reel, and is it self propelled, and have dual head lights, and the mock box top bag and top filling bags..... But it also has the very rare variable speed...

    Kenmore Horizon Find.

I was riding through a neighborhood one lovely day a few weeks ago. I saw signs for an Estate sale, so I went for it. I rode up to this rather large early 60s Ranch house. I said to my self "There HAS to be a vacuum cleaner here, I can SMELL IT!" So I went through this house, and sure enough...

    Eureka 1470b

I can tell you three major clues to date a Eureka upright... 1, this has a metal hood, but a plastic base. Eureka switched to the plastic base in 1975. 2. This has the new boxy, plain Eureka logo. Eureka changed their logo from that that had the Electric "E" in front of it, to the logo your...

First off.... I am 30,If you weren't such a dumb shit, you could open my profile, and note my age. You would also find that I have one of the largest, and most prestigious collections in the community!I prefer other far more treasured machines, then acting like a CHILD and messing with blasted...

    Info on old eureka hose

actually yes... That early converter did lift the front of the machine off the floor. There us a little mechanism on the back side of the converter so it presses down on the center belt gaurd on the cleaner, so that then acts like a kick stand so to speak. Its actually a alot like the...

    Info on old eureka hose

I have those attachments and the upright they go to! My model 250 is dated 1955. The attachments actually belonged to David Watters, but the matching machine was not present. So they came with me to go with mine.

    Hoover Guardian U4125

There were 3 variations.... of the chrome and red Hoover Guardsman. The first that was made between 1975 and 1978, had the shake out bag, and otherwise the body and the rest is the same as your. Then in 1979 is was re issued, which is what you have, with a vinyl bag, and the type A paper bag...

    Antique Store Finds: Singer R-1, G-E AVT-811, Hoover U4005 & 719, Penncrest 1200, Electrolux B-8

Also.... that Pencrest Hoover is VERY RARE indeed!!! You could easily find a dark seal greige hose and attachments for it. I have only seen one other (mine) even that one is different. It would be differently worth getting.

    Blue eureka canister

Actually..... That blue color was used alot, in uprights and canisters as early as 1960, and as late as 1980. Your particular Roto-matic canister is from about 1962. It matched the 2nd and 3rd re issue of the model 260 upright. And the flappy beater bar thing you are talking about is called...

    whats your favorite hoover upright.

My first choice would have to be..... The Golden prize Convertible mode 65 from 1958. I am very pleased and esteemed to own one of the only 22,000 of this machine made! I had completely restored mine from the ground up. My second choice is the Convertible Estate model U4103. Not too terribly...

Another Vintage Vacuum DESTROYED by a CARELESS ebay Seller's POOR Packing!! :-(

So I found.... A very similar one like the one that James has. But with a few odd differences. Mine has the on off in the top of the hood. Second off, mine bag does not have the holes punched in a flower pattern, and lastly and most odd...the cord on mine comes out the very top of the handle...
