    Voorwerk help needed : )

I love my E3 Premium. I dont think you would be disappointed with it. The cordless Henry could be the best cordless yet in the UK but is there enough power to run a turbo brush? I don't like straight suction on carpets and they don't do a PN.

Well try not to fall over it like Harley's aunt did :)

    Central Vac vs Portable Vac

You would need a very long hose to reach the upstairs floor?

    Central Vac vs Portable Vac

Can you connect the eletrified hose directly to the power unit? You don't need to use pipes and inlet valves?

Sorry to hear that. What issues are you having? If you return it what will you use to clean your home?

    Central Vac vs Portable Vac

Thanks Mike. I've just been looking at MD central vacs. They are available in the UK. I've also seen a hide a hose system which looks good but I don't think the hose is electrified. Did you fit your system yourself?

    Kirby Ultimate G Diamond

The Kirby is easy to work on so doing your own refurb shouldn't cause you any problems. According to Stan the Diamond edition 2 speed caused problems with motors burning out. Maybe you should speak to him.

New For 2017 - Numatic Henry Cordless HVB160-12

Haha I enjoyed it :-) I think that Volt PN would work great with the Henry it would increase the performance on carpets significantly. I'm not a fan of turbo brushes. Why is the cordless Henry 3 times the price of the mains powered one? Is it that much more expensive to manufacture?

New For 2017 - Numatic Henry Cordless HVB160-12

You could make your Henry into a power nozzle model by running a cable from the power supply inside the cleaner. This is what I've done with my Miele C3. It was easier to do than I thought 😊 I just copied Mike in Finland 😊

EU energy saver vs high power vacuum performance

I knew when I said that Henry would come up :) If any manufacturer can build a clean air vacuum cleaner with 100CFM or more at the end of the hose using 900w or less of power I will be very pleasantly surprised! :)

EU energy saver vs high power vacuum performance

It's good that the Philips Performer Expert 650 Watts is more efficient but not good that it only has 63 CFM compared to the 2200w that has 108 CFM. 2200w is an excessive amount of power I agree with that but I wish they would keep the maximum wattage to 1600 as it is now. You can make the...

They will make an eco x series probably. Wish they would bring something new out. It's been going for nearly 30 years now!

Yes that's the problem. Everyone wants bagless. James is to blame for that! Oh well I will make do with what I've got but I do get an urge for something new every now and then 😁 If you decide to get the VK 200 I'll buy your VK 150 😁

EU energy saver vs high power vacuum performance

Happy birthday :-) Love the E3 Premium. The floorhead feel like it's self propelled. It glides across the carpet effortlessly. Only paid £220 for it. It's a quality machine,it's a looker too 😁 I think I'd get the Felix Pet as it has better filtration than the other models. It has a thicker...

EU energy saver vs high power vacuum performance

I very nearly bought a Vorwerk Vk150 yesterday. It was new for £380. But there was no warranty. That put me off. I think it's a fantastic machine though but I can get a Sebo Felix which has a similar build quality and performance for £200 with a 5 year warranty. Seems the better option to me.
