    Central vacs

Thank you Fred I might fit a silentmaster then. 😊

    Central vacs

What about condensation? We don't get severe weather here.Cant remember the last time it was very hot or very cold. Plenty of rain tho. I'm developing webbed feet! So you think it would be better to put it in the garage as it may be a bit noisy in a ventilated closet?

    Central vacs

Thank you for your help guys 😁 I'll risk it. Supposed to be 65db so I guess that isn't too loud. I hope not anyway. The garage isn't far away. I was considering running pipes under my lawn but I was advised not to as it could lead to problems?

    Central vacs

I'm thinking of fitting an MD Central Vac. I don't have an attached garage so will have to fit the power unit in a cupboard in the kitchen. It's ventilated. Do you think it will be annoyingly noisy? I'm told that central vacs are quieter these days. Is this true?

sucked up a screw. Loud crack. Hot smell.

Yes sounds like the fan. There is a video on YouTube showing how to change the fan. It's not a difficult job.

It's a very stylish cleaner if only they would do a compact model. Happy apartment hunting though you should be hunting in the premier Bristol channel city. Cardiff!!!! 😁

Haha. S7? I thought you wanted a light cleaner? 🤔 It's a good cleaner, heavy and bulky though. Weighs about 20lbs. They are a bit brittle around the floorhead so you can't bash these cleaners around like a Sebo you have to treat them like a lady 😁

A lithium battery operated PN like the Accu Nova Miele used to do would be good. You wouldn't need an electrified hose or wand then and the lithium battery would last longer. Miele have been very good to me. I was impressed with their customer service. Maybe you caught them on an off day 😁

I would think the Sebo E3 would be better value than the VT300. Plus you won't have to send it back to Germany if something goes wrong. What a shambles VK direct are! They seriously need to get their act together or they will go out of business!

It's a shame that their customer service has not lived up to your expectations. Did you actually like the cleaner though? Yes try the E3 Premium you won't be disappointed! 😁

    Central Vac vs Portable Vac

Haha sounds like fun Tom. Can I come to your next cocktail party? I'll have a "screaming orgasm" 😁 I'm seriously considering fitting a central vac. We have Modern Day available in the UK. Wish the Volt was available over here I wouldn't need an electrified hose then. Not sure how many...

    Central Vac vs Portable Vac

You have a great system there Tom! I do like the Hide a Hose system. The Volt looks like the ideal partner. Combining the power of the central vac with the direct air motor in the Volt plus the cyclonic action with no loss of suction/airflow. Sounds great to me! The only drawback would be...

    End of Dyson Cinetic?

So why does the Cyclonic Vacuflo work better than other cylonic vacuums?

    End of Dyson Cinetic?

I've heard rumours that Dyson are going to phase out their Cinetic models as they have come to the conclusion that it's a failed system. It lets to much fine dust through to the motor causing premature motor failure. Has anyone else heard this rumour?

New For 2017 - Numatic Henry Cordless HVB160-12

So the mains Henry has 90 inches of water lift and the cordless has 47. I wonder what the airflow is at the end of the hose. Does the cordless have enough to spin a turbo brush?

    Central Vac vs Portable Vac

Yes using a good filtration vacuum cleaner such as Miele plus an air purifier I use a Blueair which are excellent. This combination will definitely help allergy sufferers.

    Central Vac vs Portable Vac

I did think about that. The bag in the power unit will trap a lot of allergens but some will escape. I guess it depends which way the wind is blowing at the time. The answer my friend is blowing in the wind 😁

    Central Vac vs Portable Vac

I like the fact that a Central Vac is powerful and exhausts the dust outside the home so it's great for allergy sufferers and it has a huge bag that doesn't need changing often. It's the 35ft hose i'm not sure about.
