    Vacuum for Elderly Woman

Maybe something along the canister line. It's a lot lighter to push over carpets and maybe easier to pull that push. Depending on budget. Aerus Electrolux USA Classic or a Aerus Electrolux USA upright with attachments.

    Attachments

It's crazy how many people lose their attachments and ow people will mismatch for whatever reason. Anytime I think about buying a vacuum on ebay or Craigslist the first thing I do it make sure all the attachments are included and the same for the model. I then check the cord and hose.

    ISO older Nutone electric hose

I would also try Owen Perkins. He is on this site also. He owns a Central Vacuum System business. He is another possibility. He is in Chicago and his business is "Just Central Vacuum's."

    Worst hose you've ever used

Anything stretch. When I worked at the ad agency I was cleaning and rearranging my office. At the time they had a Bissell Powerforce with a stretch hose. I was trying to dust the top shelf of a bookcase and I had the hose stretched out to the farthest. My boss came in and scared me and I...

    Kenmore Central Vacuums

From what I remember with my neighbors they had it set up out in the garage and four inlets. Each inlet was close to a single electric outlet and each inlet and outlet had a switch so that they could just turn the system and powerhead on and not have to unplug the hose or cord. I know it was a...

What vacuums do/did your parents or grandparents use?

Lets see if I remember how this goes... My Grandmother on my moms side only had Electrolux. She had Electrolux Model G with Power Nozzle. She then had an Ultra Lux and then a Discover III upright with attachements. She did have a Dirt Devil Hand vac with attachments. A couple of different...

    Kenmore Central Vacuums

For the most part this was a great read. The only thing I actually disagree with was the switch on the hose to turn the power head on and off. That wasn't until the very end I believe. The only reason I say that is because one of my old neighbors had one from the 80's and there was no switch...

    Through the years to come.

A vacuum is going to last as long as you take care of it. If you clean it out, maintain the filters and treat it well it will last a long time. Higher end vacuums like the door to door types are built to last even longer. With that being said... Bissell is notorious for discontinuing...

    Stimulus check vacuums

I didn't buy a vacuum... But I did buy my DNA Ancestry kit. This should be interesting.

What have you done since Stay At Home ???

I have been working from home for the most part and it's going well. My boss who has been a savior in her own way has also had us working onsite two to three days a week. For Easter we did a take out dinner which was extremely successful so last week I was in at the restaurant more than...

    Stimulus check vacuums

I'm stashing it in savings to go towards the down payment for the new house. I have all the vacuums I need. I may do a grocery haul and really finish shocking up. Who knows.

Does This Mean I’m Going To Vacuum Hell?

It took me a couple of minutes to figure out what I was looking at then I finally saw it. My hats off to the transplant team on this one. And they say heart and kidney transplants are difficult. The fact that you got everything to line up and work perfectly is pretty cool.

    Fantastic Fantom Thunder

My mom had one of these and I hated it. I think the only thing I liked about it was the sound the motor made when turned on. Yes it did clean well. I used it a few times and it seemed really nice when it came to cleaning carpets. But at the same time that was about all it was good for.

What make is this wand ?

Less. It's not Rainbow. Rainbow has specific wands that they have to use. I know that a Vacuum Cleaner shop has tried to use them on older model Rainbows and you can see it on their videos. But the wands do not fit properly into the hose or powerheads. Andy

What make is this wand ?

It's just a generic wand. They are used all over. Check with Centec. I thi k early 2000s Shark used them for their canisters. It seems like a lot of unknown brands will use them.

The first Electrolux I ever saw..

My grandma only ever owned Elextrolux. It was one of my favorite brands. It still is. In my lifetime she owned three different models.
