I've used... my GE roll-around pink and coral for almost 39 years and it will clean very well with the rug tool on carpet and area rugs.I'll hear a small rock of some sand go up the wands.So,it will clean deep with straight suction. Michael

In... 1951,I would have choosen the Hoover 62 or the Hoover 29.And would have also had the Aero-dyne 42 as a canister.

Hoover uprights... the best ones I feel were the 60 series,29,28 models.They cleaned your rugs and carpet.The convertables cleaned very well too. Michael

Odorific... Is still made and comes in 3 different scents.Are you refering to the old scent called Sweetaire.It has not been made for quit sometime.It really was the best in keeping smells out of the vaccum and using it in the home. Michael
