Hoover really were the best for carpets back in the day...It is a shame we don’t see this performance now! That belt needed replacing too, in that demo below, which features a 1346 Junior. Look at that cushion of air IBAISAIC action!

I think the Junior is comparable to a Kirby in performance, I wouldn’t say either one was better.

“It would've been called the lightweight deluxe upright” The Junior Deluxe certainly isn’t light compared to the regular Junior. It is VERY good though, it was the predecessor to the Turbopower.
