Help on Wanda Central Vacuum Cleaning System

Looks interesting. Could we get some better pictures showing the whole machine and some of the valves?

Mid 1960s Eatons VIKING 2000 canister

Just thought I would update this as it is a very neat machine. I've manage to find most of the parts for mine now (Though the dusting brush is the wrong colour). And it was made by Panasonic for Eatons.

Acquired two Electrolux ZB55's, unsure if worth restoring

Keep the ends from the hose that broke and just put them on a new hose. You can buy lengths of hose with rubber sleeves on the end that the old hose ends can be glued onto.

And last, but not least, I also need the yellow small nozzle to complete my Regina V480 if anyone has one in their spares.

    Regina Vacuums (Missing parts)

And While I am on the subject of Regina's missing parts I also need the Lime Green Small Nozzle, Dusting brush and the two short wands for my Regina V234 if anyone has any kicking around. (You can see this machine is the same design as the Coronado)

    Regina Vacuums (Missing parts)

Hey Guys: Just added another interesting machine to my collection. A Coronado Model V221. Coronado was the house brand for the MacLeods stores in Canada. This one was made by General Signal Appliances (Which was formerly Switson Mfg) in Welland Ontario. General Signal was a subsidiary of the...

Need info on a vacuum cleaner from Germany.

Strange thing about this model is, up till about 3 years ago I had only seen it in pictures from Germany. Then this one turned up in a thrift store in Calgary. Since then I have seen 3 or 4 more show up in various places (like ebay, kijiji etc). Very funny how stuff seems to run in cycles...

    The END of Sears, finally.

Another very stupid move on the part of Sears was to place the cosmetic areas right at the mall entrances. For people with allergies (of which there are an awful lot) it meant that you couldn't even go into the store from the mall. And who wanted to bother going back outside just to get into...

Need info on a vacuum cleaner from Germany.

Also, if memory serves, the end on the cord is different from any others I have encountered.

Need info on a vacuum cleaner from Germany.

Hi - Yep that is the hair dryer resting on the hose - you put the hose on the exhaust then the hair dryer on that. It was used the same way as a modern hair dryer but with the vacuum providing the air flow. I don't have mine in a place where I can get at it at the moment so I'm not sure if...

    The END of Sears, finally.

Hey Brian: Never heard of Morgans. Simpsons and Eatons were the two major ones out West with a few Hudsons Bay stores. In 1949 The Robert Simpson Co. made an agreement with the Sears Robuck & Co. to create a new chain - Simpson Sears. Simpsons turned over their catalog order to the new chain...

Need info on a vacuum cleaner from Germany.

Hey Alex Which blower thing. Mine has the sprayer and the demother. A common european part that is electric for the exhaust was the hair dryer, which had a heating element. I have one with my Ruton (pictured below - bottom left corner)

    Electrolux System 90

The AP100 motor is lower powered but it can be used in the S90. You have to use the Ap100 motor housing (plastic) as well though. It wont fit using the S90 motor housing.

Anyone? I managed to find a couple of pictures of what the caddies should have looked like.

    Looking for Singer Tool Caddy.

Hi Everyone: I'm trying to find the plastic tool caddies for my Singer C5 and C9. Both had removable plastic ones that clipped onto the top of the machine.(In fact the C5 was the first to have it). I also need the hose for the C9 and the Floor Brush and Crevice tool for the C5

    Mystery Electrolux

Hey Tom - as I said in my post above. It is a model 16 which was the lower line machine when the model 18 was out (18 was basically a model 12 with a face lift - it was red) in England, Sweden and several other countries.
