+1... For the Panasonic 902. Works well and will run for years without issue if taken care of.

ABC Warehouse... I've ordered and had a great experience as well, but if you feel more comfortable ordering from a well known name you can get the same machine from Amazon.com for about $3 more. I don't however think you would have any issue with ABC.

IMO... And in agreement with Jamie... The grit and dirt left behind by a brushroll that is too gentile will cause much more wear over time than something more aggressive.
