    Westinghouse Wired (Fantom lookalikes)

Long Fantom Story Short... So to start with "fantomvacuums.net" wasn't the Fantom site. It was from a dealer at the time specializing in Fantom parts and refurbished machine sales, from what I remember at the time it was also associated with a now defunct Dyson online site called "Vacmall.com"...

    Newly Designed Bissell Powerforce Bagged

I'm... Very glad you posted this! I've been holding off for a long time on purchasing one of the old models. My store already had sold out of the old ones and had stock of the new model. Just ordered two for myself from Walmart.com.

    Von Haus

Never... Heard of Von Haus, but I do know that little stick vac has been produced for many brands over the years. I'd pass, probably ok but I'd imagine it'll die off after a few years under that brand and then support/parts/filters may dry up. You're probably be better off with something more...

Is an elite supposed to sound like this?

I'd... Bet money the fan is broken. At least that's what it sounds like to me. It's easy to check, take the top cover off, remove the motor mounts (two plastic brackets left and right with two screws each), and lift the machine off the base, then you'll be able to see directly into the fan chamber.

    What's The Best Method For...

Stain-X... Makes a polish specifically for the rubber and plastic components on vacuums. It works amazingly on cloudy bins as well as scratched and dull plastic. It'll only be temporary, and how well it works depends on the wear of the plastic, but you should see a large improvement with it...

    Here Come the 2016 Dysons!

Yes... I've tried the turbo nozzle... While decent for it's class and only behind a Miele head and a Turbo Cat, they're still far behind the performance of any PN on anything other than commercial carpeting. Along with more complicated than either of the other options due to the "bare floor"...

    Dirt Devil? Help!

Best... Bet with DD is always searching their website, they have basically all machines archived and they're easy to find. The Can vac takes style 3 belts, DD part number 3210395001. Link below is the machine page, belts and other accessories are under parts...

Getting to the brush roll on an Unplugged

Here's... What the Fantom service manual shows for the Wildcat. I've also included the entire breakdown of the powerhead itself incase it's of any use to you.

Getting to the brush roll on an Unplugged

I've... Got the service manual, and I believe the owners manual for the Fantom Wildcat. I'll take a look and see if I can find any information on it. The Wildcat and Unplugged use a cogged belt though if I remember correctly, so it mainly depends on how detailed the service manual is. I doubt...

    Are robot vacuums safe?

I've... Owned a wide range of Roomba's and both multiple Neato XV Series and BotVac machines. Don't even think about the XV series, they are my favorite when they work.... However, I had four XV21s (original purchase + 3 replacements) before Neato finally just said "We can't send you anymore...

Is this normal for clutched Dysons?

That... Does make a large difference. We see clutched Dysons in on a daily basis (even the newest DC33) at the shop I work at with destroyed belts, and sometimes the clutches themselves totally destroyed. The set up of the machine is just a bad design in general, which makes things sad for the...

Video: Numatic Henry Assembly Right Here In The UK All Hand Assembled Too

Kenkart... GoVacuum sells them, as well as some sellers on Amazon. They aren't as cheap/as good a value here as they are in the UK I'm guessing due to import costs. But they're still amazing little machines...

Is this normal for clutched Dysons?

They... Won't necessarily break, but they will stretch out to the point that the belts are useless. Rebuilding the clutch and getting a set of belts isn't expensive, but it's a massive pain in the ass even if you know what you're doing. Sorry Parwaz, but both the "lifetime belt/clutch" and...

Samsung Quiet Storm Canister Vacuum Bags

If... That's the machine I'm thinking of, you should be able to use Bissell Digipro bags in it. If they're really any cheaper I'm not to sure with how relatively uncommon the machine is.

    Miele Eco Models

I'd... Bet Consumer Reports left the machine on the Automatic mode instead of having the suction all the way up compared to the other models... Their testing is horrible, why people here continue to use/pay attention them is beyond me. They've already been sued twice over falsifying results...

Brand new "Everybody" Robot Vacuum cleaner for everyone

So... By that logic Tom Tacony ULWs aren't truly vacuums then?

    Vacuum Scent Tabs

Might wanna try.... Fresh Wave Pearls, we have these at work. They get put in the bench vacs to keep the smells at bay from all the horrid dirt we pull from other machines. We also have customers that swear by them and that haven't had luck with anything else...

    Church vacuum

Don't... Just don't. The RD belt equipped Sanitaires and Eurekas are worse with belts than this Hoover. On medium pile dense carpeting in my home, with the height set correctly my belts are stretching after about 4 hours of use. That equates to about 4 weekly cleanings out of a belt for me.

    Shark/Euro Pro Infomercials

I've never come across them in my searches over the years. I do have the commercial spots themselves for the Infinity vacuums, although I'm not sure if those actually had an infomercial.

    Ahh roomba

Drop... The ancient OEM NiCD/NiMH batteries. Go with the Lithium replacements, they provide longer run time, longer life spans, and are lighter than their equivalent counterparts. http://www.lithiumpowerinc.com
