Rainbow E Series blowing out water

Double checked! Just like the hot water, I thought I could have but I made sure several times, even filled it quite a bit under the dome in the middle and it was still happening. I got ahold of the distributor that it was purchased from and he is coming over tomorrow to take a look at it. Chase

Rainbow E Series blowing out water

I only use cold water in my Rainbows. I thought that maybe I accidentally used hot water without knowing but that wasn't the case. The lady handed me the HEPA filter and it was soaking wet, she said she had just washed it and that's why it wasn't installed. I'm guessing she didn't know that it...

Rainbow E Series blowing out water

Hi there, Could you tell me where I'd find the serial number? It doesn't seem to be on the underside. Sorry I'm not too familiar with these! Chase

Rainbow E Series blowing out water

Update: I went ahead and siliconed around the rubber gasket surrounding the separator. I let it dry and there is still water coming out of the exhaust, so I'm guessing that it's going straight into the fans through the separator. Chase

Rainbow E Series blowing out water

I was hoping somebody here might be able to help me out. I picked up a 2013 Rainbow and there is water blowing out of the exhaust port. I wasn't able to test it out with water in the basin (a big mistake), so I had no idea when I bought it. The separator seems to be in perfect condition, I...

    Saved a Roll Easy

Thanks! It's a very neat cleaner, that's for sure. A lot bigger than I thought it was (this is the first one I've seen in person). It's a great conversation piece.

    Saved a Roll Easy

I found this beauty at an estate sale last weekend; it was tucked away in a corner of the basement with just the hose. I thought to myself, "The attachments have to be here somewhere." Sure enough, I found them all in a box on the workbench. For $3 I was not about to leave it there! From what...

    Any Collectors In Southern Indiana?

These vacuums will be in Valparaiso (Northwest IN) by the end of the week, so if anyone is interested and lives in that area please shoot me an email. Chase

    Any Collectors In Southern Indiana?

Finally, a Hoover Dimension 1000 Electronic. This is in spectacular condition. It has all of the attachments and two packages of bags. The hose and cord are perfect and the electronics still work. Only issue is the manual power selector is flip-flopped, so high is low and vice versa. I'd hate...

    Any Collectors In Southern Indiana?

Next, a Kenmore (Commander?). It's missing all of the attachments and I'm not sure if the hose is original or not, either way it's not airtight. I believe the cord is original on this. It sounds pretty good, could be greased. Usually when I see these they're trashed and this one seems to be...

    Any Collectors In Southern Indiana?

Next, a Hoover Elite 600. Awesome condition and works great. The height adjustment cover is missing and that's the only fault I believe this has. Looking to get $25.

    Any Collectors In Southern Indiana?

Next up, a Hoover Celebrity. Includes all of the attachments and a package of bags. It works, the power nozzle sounds a little dry, but other than that it's fine. It's a little rough but I have confidence that this would turn out like new with a little love. Looking to get $25.

    Any Collectors In Southern Indiana?

I'm thinning the herd here and have a few vacuums for sale locally, pickup only (no shipping) in Bloomington. I'm willing to meet in the Bloomington / Indy / surrounding areas within reason. I'm not trying to make any money on these so the prices should be more than fair. If you're interested...

Found a Dream Machine Last Night

So I did a little research on the name on the bottom of the Eureka: Rick Wanke. I googled his name followed by Chicago (where I bought the vacuum), and if it's the same person then my Cordaway has a pretty cool history! I've attached a link to the website that I found. Chase...

Found a Dream Machine Last Night

I believe my Vanguard is from the early 70s, here's a photo of it. It's much quieter than this one that's for sure. I would have thought this Continental was from the early 70s but apparently it's from 78! The color definitely represents that.

Found a Dream Machine Last Night

That's the one! It had been listed for 37 minutes when I found it. I've been using it like crazy the past two days, it seems much more powerful compared to my Vanguard. I'm really excited to get it all cleaned out and sounding good pretty soon.
