    Looking for this convertible

U4335 Info.... This particular model that you are speaking about I believe was ONLY a K-Mart exclusive in the mid 1980's, I'd like to say around 1985 or so. .. It was part of a multi-line line-up with this being the BOL version, all of them in the same color format, mint green hood, white...

    montgomery wards

Your Hoover-Montgomery Wards That seems to be about right 1985-86. I think the first Convertible re-badge came in 1983, and the hood was the same cream color as the rest of the machine. Im sure it later came in the color you have, which would denote a year change. Its a nice machine to be...

    montgomery wards

Montgomery Ward vacuums That is My Wards electronic in the video above. I was given that machine by a friend in Indiana who had it at his vacuum store. I kinda went gaga over it as it was the first one I had seen since I last saw it (when new) in 1984-85. I was a BIG Wards kid, mainly because...

    Scary Vacuum Cleaners

The only vacuum that scared me... So I have two. My very first "vintage" vacuum ever given to me was a late 1940's Kenmore upright. Tom has one at the museum. I was given it by a great aunt, who just marveled at my "interest" and had it down in her basement in the laundry room just sitting...

    Tacony Experts

.why two lines of the exact same offerings of vacuums? The reason I have been told there are two lines, was that way back one of the brands had a clause ( I believe Simplicity), that you had to carry the like branded sewing machines, to have the vacuums. I believe then ( and this is where I'm a...

    Miele UniQ

Should I buy the UniQ or a different Miele canister? Hi Erik, As a major distributor for Miele products for our area of southeastern Michigan, I can say with relative confidence, that most of what you've heard so far is correct. I would personally find a dealer that sells the HomeCare S8390...

Look what my wife bought me.......

The Admiral Vacuum.... I believe that your very cool, and RARE vacuum was produced by The Clements Manufacturing Company, of Chicago Illinois. Clements also produced the more well known Cadillac brand of cleaner, as well as Packard and others. I'd date this early 1950's as their Cadillac...

A longtime dream finally came true!

U4003 Wow, that's great that you found something like that. It "seems like" there is nothing out there anymore. And, then there one is... I was just downriver the Friday before last , checked out the new Salvation Army on Telegraph. There was a nice little Hoover Runabout canister there, but...

    Looking for some help..

Model 705 The painted lower base-plate covering the agitator makes it a Canadian model, as your bottom "IDtag" states as well. Our 704 model, has been seen with both the Persian Gold snap outer-bag, and then a medium seal greige bag like what was on the 1070 and I believe it TOO had a snap...

Hello A few answers..... So, That was/is a COMMERCIAL Filter Queen by HealthMor that was manufactured roughly from the 1960's thru the 1980's, as I have seen them in the darker chocolate brown before which would indicate a time of that late. I could be wrong, but...unless someone can correct me...
