Now my goto vac is the Miele S194 quickstep.

I had the shark steam mop and returned it. It left my floors looking very dull after each cleaning. I did not like that. I have wondered if all the steam cleaners would have the same result.

I am curious.... What were you looking for to stumble across this find???

At least their customer service is getting those that call in etc new bags. And good idea on getting them to send you a heap filter as well. Those aren't cheap.

How long have you been using the HEB160 in the car? Could the wear down be due to the frequency you have been using the tool and the downward pressure you are putting on it against the cars carpet/seats etc? I know when I vacuum my car I am pretty aggressive in there to get things up/out. Way...

Nice. I wonder why he chose the miele. He kept saying "regular household vacuum" throughout his presentation. I bet it is because of the low setting that can be applied and how quiet it runs.

Is the double Hepa necessary? What is the frequency and cost to replace both those Hepa filters?

Just an update... The Quickstep S194 is great. No major complaints at all...except for those already mentioned... the lack of standing upright is my main one. The nozzle that comes with the quickstep is nice but it would be a better package if it came with the 217 for carpets and the Twister...

@electromatik, I didn't know the Aerus was updateable.... how will the software fix be applied to address the PN/brush being left on?

Is there a specific reason for them to design it so the pn still operates with the system on? What would be the use?
