    Bagged thrift store sightings

Absolutely valid Luckily Panasonic made a lot of different designs so there was something for everyone 😂 I've had good luck with my Progressive, I mostly just like to show it off cause it's different than most vacuums. And you're right, I forgot about the Performance Plus. Such is the nature...

    Bagged thrift store sightings

Oh man! I'm glad someone claimed the Kenmore Progressive, but you would love one too! $30 is a bit steep, but worth it if it'd been maintained correctly. I have one and I feel like it was one of the best machines they ever released. It's essentially the US version of the Panasonic Icon. The...

    Forgotten Hoover Products

Does this count? I thought this was one of the Maytag builds, it is not. Those were the nice top of the line self propelled ones and the bagless twin chambers. Still though, was excited to find this today. Should clean up nice

    I found a Mighty Mite!

Really though Rob Do you ever have anything positive to say about anything?? So WHAT if Eureka isn't what they were? 😂😂 We're all allowed to buy whatever we want

    Riccar Self-Propelled Upright??

Agreed Those 8900 series were mean with a new belt, they definitely do take you for a ride. I've seen a lot of people say their Sharks are self propelled too 😂 I just let people think what they want to tbh 😂 if Shark made something with a transmission you know that'd fail first thing

    Forgotten Hoover Products

I've had a Tempo Years ago. It was my first Elite style and I ran that thing until the bearings gave out. That machine ignited a love of the platform and I've had so many variations through the years now. I currently have a PowerDrive Supreme, not quite an Elite but same idea. She runs almost...

    Why not Electrolux?

I've been an avid collector of Electrolux machines since the start, my very first was a 1949 model XXX. Didn't ever run quite right, even after servicing the motor the suction left something to be desired. I chalked it up to the motor mounts having gone bad, and the motor was no longer sealing...

    I found a Mighty Mite!

You're set then! Yours is probably not as whiny as mine, but having that HEPA filter on there will make a difference in noise. Mine has been fantastic for work, but with the way the new motors are built, she ain't got no airflow at all. So as soon as the bag plugs up with fine dust, time to...

    I found a Mighty Mite!

Those use the Style MM. I bought the VAC brand ones for mine and they are excellent. Your machine may be able to use the HF-8 exhaust filter, if it has the tabs on the rear of the machine. Mine does not, it seems like towards the end they either put the tabs for the filter on the machine or not.

Anyone looking for a Penncrest A117? Heres one for sale.

I meant no drama by it But that's honestly the very first time I've mentioned on this forum how he treated me at the very start. This community doesn't have to be threatening or make anyone feel excluded, and it breaks my heart that his actions have done so much damage to so many people. I just...

Curious about this Panasonic Jet Flo upright

I haven't ever been Disappointed with the Jet Flo machines. I think they get into the carpet pretty well... Maybe not on deep pile but for what we have it does more than enough. If I want to get to the subfloor I drag out the Kirby 🤣 All in all they're one of my favorite lines, Panasonic had...

Anyone looking for a Penncrest A117? Heres one for sale.

There's a good reason Tacony kicked him to the curb and he fled town. Ask some of the reputable collectors, they have the real story.

Anyone looking for a Penncrest A117? Heres one for sale.

Actually y'all... Go ahead and ask me for the screenshots. Tom has been terrible to SO MANY people for YEARS and he's lashing out at every last connection due to people figuring out how he operates. He was the first person when I was 12 years old to bully me on this forum, and told me that I...

    My vacuum sightings

Oh that hose! Is ridiculously stumpy for a full sized canister. I don't know what Hoover was thinking but they missed the mark by a couple feet 😂 Had one of them models, and I don't know if the hose was shortened or what but it was about 4 feet long end to end. I battled with that and the...

    Sebo Softcase CE12 in USA!

I don't think We'll be seeing the Sebo in the US for awhile. The equivalent we have here is the Karcher Ranger, both the corded and cordless. The corded is at an affordable price point too

    Chinese fantom

There you go! I have a couple of friends who'd pay well for it, but I appreciate your mentality. Some of the Fantom fans will trip over one another and clutch their pearls over some of the machines 😂 Beauty is in the eye of the beholder with a lot of stuff anymore it seems

    Chinese fantom

That is a late model Made by Sanyo! From what I've heard if you treat them nice and maintain them they actually do pretty well. Not the same quality as the original Iona Fantoms, as these rolled out after the Euro Pro acquisition, but that one looks like it's in good shape. I'd snag it just...

    Calling all repair guys

Maybe not that bad? But some pretty decent wear is to be expected in 70 plus year old machines 😅 I was not meaning that as a negative thing at all. It's definitely fixable, but it just goes to show that they used to build things a lot better than they do nowadays

    Calling all repair guys

She'll run Just fine. Internals of the motors were made out of softer metals back in the day, that's just wear from age. I'd be willing to bet the motors of most near antique machines probably look about the same
