SEBO and Miele 2x as much as in the UK

Kirby vacuums cost 3800€ here in the Finland. Kirbys are sold by door to door salesmans so maybe you can get it a bit cheaper if you are very good negotiator. That's insane! In contrast Miele C2 Complete Ecoline cost 139€!

Brushroll with stiff bristles + delicate carpeting = damage?

I don't live with my parents. They have very good straight suction canister vacuum with huge suction power of 500 air watts (Philips PerformerPro FC9193). It used to be mine, but I gave it to them because they needed full-size bagged canister vacuum. But no matter what suction it has it's still...

    BAGLESS CANISTER VAC FROM MIELE

That's amazing! It looks better than any other bagless canister I have seen. It also have certain solid quality look to it. My guess is that Miele did this just because the bagless vacuums are so hugely popular and Miele lost ALOT customers and profit making just a bagged vacuums. It's...

Brushroll with stiff bristles + delicate carpeting = damage?

That delicate brush roll strip from the SEBO would be exactly what I need!

Brushroll with stiff bristles + delicate carpeting = damage?

I might just use my AEG canister vacuum with the Miele SEB-217 powerhead (soft bristles) regularly and then use the upright about once a month to give a more deep cleaning.

Brushroll with stiff bristles + delicate carpeting = damage?

I have been wondering if aggressive brush roll with the stiff bristles can cause damage to the delicate carpeting. My vacuum cleaner is a Kärcher CV36/2. It has very stiff and short bristles (basically copy of SEBO BS36 & Windsor Versamatic). This came to my mind when I vacuumed my parents...

    2000s Bagless Systems

It's funny how bagless vacuums have been around for decades. For example my aunt got Hitachi C-V160GN vacuum cleaner for wedding present around the mid 70's. It had very large filter and filter had cleaning mechanism where you rotated the handle to clean it. It worked just okay. Most effective...

does the uk care about deep cleaning? WHAT DO YOU THINK

Finland Doesn't care about deep cleaning. We don't have any uprights for sale. Only is Kirby, but it's very rare someone to own a Kirby. So we have two canister vacuums with full-size powerhead. Those are Electrolux UltraOne QUATTRO and Miele Complete C3 Electro Ecoline. Both cost 499€. So as a...

Karcher CV36/2 Upright Worth to buy?

Yes I now totally understand people who like the uprights! I have to admit that I have looking for the upright for some time, but it just seemed impossible task to find any from here in the Finland. Only uprights for sale are Kirbys and price is sky high. Cheapest used ones starts at minimum...

Karcher CV36/2 Upright Worth to buy?

Agitation This has a suspicious lot of similarities with the SEBO. Here is a ridiculous video how it works on the low pile rug. I had to set the height to the 4 and it still lifts the rug to the nozzle and result is quite interesting. However this way it cleans this rug very nicely.

Karcher CV36/2 Upright Worth to buy?

Here are some pictures of it. Suction motor is quite small in diameter, but deep. This allows the cleaner to go very flat to the floor. All hard wear parts are metal like the handle release mechanism, tall handle, part of soleplate and base attachment to the motor/bag section. Closeup picture...

Karcher CV36/2 Upright Worth to buy?

I bought it I bought this from a man who used to have a furniture shop with wall to wall carpets. Price was astoundingly cheap, just a 40€. Reason for cheap price is that no one wants this kind of very heavy and bulky vacuum. In Finland all (or 99,5%) uses canister vacuums. This is made for the...

Karcher CV36/2 Upright Worth to buy?

So I spotted used Karcher CV36/2 upright for sale. Asking price is only 40€ and they claim that it is unused/great condition. I am very tempted to buy this to vacuum my carpets. It seems like a quality vacuum and brush roll in it has changeable brush strips. So do anyone has any experience of...

It's now working So I got this powerhead finally running. I ordered two belts from the UK ebay about week ago. Belts have not arrived yet, but I managed make one tweak to make it run. I just wrapped alot of electrical tape around the brush roll and old belt works. Tape has been holding up so...

Whats your quietest and loudest vacuum?

I have owned quite many quiet canister vacuum cleaners. There is some of them and comments. Electrolux Ultraone Z8810: Extremely quiet, soft tone and very powerfull (425 Airwatts). I sold it when I needed the money. Still greatly regret selling it. Best vacuum I have had. Bagless Electrolux...

    Vorwerk ET 30 powerhead questions

When I first opened the soleplate I also thought that what a strange belt setup. But nice to hear it works. This brushroll height adjustment is very extensive. It really gives chance to use the same brushroll a long long time. And it also tightens the belt when you lower the brush, nice! At the...

    Vorwerk ET 30 powerhead questions

Thank you for your answer! I really like this powerhead, because it's built like a tank. Very good materials and all plastic parts are very well made and feels durable. Edge cleaning seems to be excellent. Brushes go all the way to the edge of the nozzle. Brushroller height adjustment is great...

    Vorwerk ET 30 powerhead questions

So I bought the Vorwerk VK 117-1H upright vacuum cleaner and it came with the ET 30 powerhead. In fact I bought it because of the powerhead and I intend to use the ph with my canister vacuum. Wiring for it is already sorted. Powerhead is almost non used and in excellent condition. Motor in it...
