hard to push It's a bit hard to push, but not harder than my Miele SEB-217 powerhead with wheels. After my small modification (small suction release holes) it doesn't stick to the carpet so much like it used to (due to the powerful suction).

Yes it picks up well, but the belt was a bit loose. I fitted the new Vorwerk ET 30 belt and now what a difference! No slowing down on the shag carpet. It has 150w motor so new brushroll wouldn't be a problem.

bagged vs. bagless Yeah I totally understand why you returned the Electrolux Cyclone Power bagless. I have owned the Electrolux UltraOne (bagged) and UltraPerformer/Active (bagless). Difference is that UltraOne with its simple airpath is much more powerfull and quieter also.
