My dream vacuum found Philips P74 Electronic

This didn't come with any attachments, but there is no tool storage in the vacuum. Twinner is quite unique floor tool. It has been out from the mid 90's so the design is quite old. Very easy to maneuver and fits in to the small and low places. Large front suction channels are best part of this...

My dream vacuum found Philips P74 Electronic

I found this Philips from the Internet thrift store. It was very cheap and seller said it to be in good condition. Unfortunately body of the vacuum was partly cracked and scuffed , bag chamber door had also some damage + floor tool was in very bad condition. After one day of hard work I managed...

In Memory of Our Sebo oracle - Narayan Kundu

This news was so shocking, that I didn't even realise it first when I read it. Nar gave me a valuable information about Sebo and other vacuums here on the VL. Rest to his soul. He was far too young to pass away.

    Henry or Small Shop Vac?

Very loud All shop vacs what I have used are extremely loud. Real suction in most cases is not comparable to the "home vacuum" although airflow is good.

What happens to carpets that have only been cleaned with a stick vac...

Wool rug Yes I figured it at the end. When the dirt was removed, all what came from the rug was that cotton wool stuff. So I stopped vacuuming after I emptied the third bin.

What happens to carpets that have only been cleaned with a stick vac...

I just vacuumed my parents wool rug and result was disgusting. I almost filled the bin three times. Rug was previously vacuumed with suction only canister, never with upright or canister with the powerhead.

    New full-size powerhead from Electrolux

LED lights are always on when ph is turned on. Some notes after using this: Height adjustment goes very high. If I compare it to the Kärcher upright, Elux settings go higher. I can easily vacuum my medium pile shag carpet on level 1 without it being hard to push. In the Kärcher I have to use...

    New full-size powerhead from Electrolux

Ohh.. Something about different cars people drive in the Europe. My Nissan Maxima with the V6 engine has caused MANY people to comment that I should drive a 4-cylinder. I don't get that. Maxima (year 1999) is basic car. I mean those people has never even driven the Maxima. It's motor IS NOT so...

    My vacuum cleaner enthusiasm story

Wow fantastic article and so true! When I lived with my parents we had a rug in every room covering about 1/3 to 1/2 of the floor area. Nowadays bare floors are more common and wall to wall carpets: Never seen one. I personally love carpets. More the better. Here is typical Finnish weather at...

    My vacuum cleaner enthusiasm story

Finnish people: What is the powerhead? Well reason is that people don't even know to demand vacuums with the powerhead. We have always cleaned your carpets with the straight suction canisters. Sounds stupid, but if department stores would begin to offer ph canisters people wouldn't buy those...

    My vacuum cleaner enthusiasm story

I have been interested about vacuums since I was a child. My actual enthusiasm for vacuums started about 10 years ago. Note that first 8 years I didn't collect vacuums. I always had just a one vacuum at the time and when I wanted new I sold the old one. My major interest now is how different...

    New full-size powerhead from Electrolux

Now it's quickly tested. Pleasant surprise: Light to handle, not overly noisy and seems to groom the carpet very well.

    New full-size powerhead from Electrolux

Nice to hear, that someone else has done the same thing. Let's do some calculations why I have done it. If I would have bought the whole vacuum, for example the Electrolux Ultraone Quattro which comes with the Paragon ph. It costs 499€. Base model Electrolux UltraOne costs 199€ + Paragon ph 84€...

    New full-size powerhead from Electrolux

I just thought to explain how I have done wiring for the ph in UltraFlex. In total I have done it to 5 cylinder vacuums. So all of my vacuums have a socket for the ph. First of all it's extremely important that you know what you are doing. Doing it wrong and result can be dangerous or you can...

    New full-size powerhead from Electrolux

I don't think that pushing it is a problem, but it would be nice to have those top "vents" actually working. My experience is that if it's hard to push I just raise the height one step. What then happens is that the suction lifts the carpet pile so the brushroll can agitate it and nozzle isn't...
