These are my favorite I also have a Concept One I like a lot, but it doesn't match the color scheme of these. I have full attachments for them all except the Convertible. I need a hose for it, then I can share the rest of the attachments from the DAM.

My favorites are 1. Kirby Tradition because that was the current model when I started working for Kirby. 2. Classic Omega. I love the Rosewood trim. Beautiful when it's all buffed and shiney. 3. Sanitronic VII. First Kirby I ever traded in.

I have the same model I bought at a thrift shop last year for $30. Mine has the electric hose and a power nozzle, but it''s blue instead of red.

Only machines I have older than me are my Compact C-2, and my Electrolux XXX. Both great machines.

Agreed Clear silicone sealer works the best, like the kind used to seal glass aquariums.

Wow. Nice Tradition. It's hard to think of the Tradition as being a vintage machine because I sold that model new when I was with Kirby. It literally seems like yesterday. Where does the time go?

I agree John I recently picked up a Miele with a power nozzle at a thrift store, and couldn't believe how cheap the hose was. It's a great cleaner, but I wonder how long the hose will last.

I like both I have both, a Filter Queen and a Compact, and I'm happy with either one. I do need a set of wands, an external power nozzle cord and straps for the Compact's power nozzle though. It's basically a Eureka Roto-Matic power nozzle with a Compact decal on it.

Actually I think the design colors of the Avalir are an homage to the 505. It's pretty cool, I think.
