    Hoover Guardsman Bagged - Discontinued?

TTI floorcare the owners of Hoover, Dirt Devil, and Oreck is a Hong Kong company. otherwise, those "European Americans" were the ones who outsourced to begin with after the aquisition of Hoover. half nice day. if half the day is nice, it's a good day these days.

    My vacuum wish list

Kyle, don't ever change either. You are very passionate. Most of us do understand one another on collecting vacuums, but some disagree on other things. I guess we're not expected to met each others expectations. If we happen to by coincidence, then even better.

It may be distribution point only.

    My vacuum wish list

Yes Kyle, you're fine. Don't take anything personal. We're all opinionated. I remember you on the Ellen show. You were about 11? Your folks raised you well, and you have a good education. Best wishes, and much success.

    Hoover Guardsman Bagged - Discontinued?

I listen, like when you said "Europeans who live in America". We all want it all our way now don't we? Well all one way, or only your way isn't the only way either.

    Hoover Guardsman Bagged - Discontinued?

Don't believe all you read here. Also don't hold your breath. Things don't have to say where they are assembled anymore. Remember this, it's always about the lowest cost to bring things to market. Always!

    Yep! you're correct.

    Hoover Guardsman Bagged - Discontinued?

No, Panasonic has new models coming out. The Kentucky plant will remain for now. The Hoover Tempo I recall was a small canister similar to the Eureka Mighty Mite.

    Hoover Guardsman Bagged - Discontinued?

I see belts, etc. all over for inexpensive Hoovers, Dirt Devils, and Oreck's. Sharks also. Most people don't repair a $100 t $200 vacuum. They toss it in the trash after a couple of years and buy another.

    Hoover Guardsman Bagged - Discontinued?

Dan, sorry, but I must disagree. Way too much outsourcing was done prior to 2008. I live in one of the hardest hit areas of the rust belt. In a way like what super storm Sandy did to the New Jersey shore, and parts of Queens and Long Island. Now I would think all the new jobs added since 2009...

New Bagless Miele Blizzard CX1 is finally here

It's nice. Maybe it will come to the US with an electric carpet brush. It seems a bit noisier than other Mieles, but it's not terrible.

    Hoover Guardsman Bagged - Discontinued?

I didn't say there was a problem. TTI is a global company, so is Ford, GM, FCA, etc. I bet TTI imports most of it's parts from China. That will not change, nor should it. Good management is good management and bad is bad. Daimler nearly ruined Chrysler, and Cerberus didn't help it either. Now...

    Hoover Guardsman Bagged - Discontinued?

"euoropean" owner's" means mostly European money. Just like American owners means mostly American money, regardless of country of manufacture. I.E. AB Electrolux. The Wallenberg family holds the majority of shares to this day. While Ford does make cars abroad, the Ford family holds 51...

    Eureka- photo of the day

"walked" probably the way most beater bar equipped vacuums do a bit if they have a good belt, and bristles, unless they are too heavy.

I never knew Eureka sold a kitchen garbage disposal.

    The Ugliest Filter Queen?

An analytic reference to a giant vacuum. A bit between the lines. Google the geographical place, the rest is self explanatory. It may help decipher reply #13 also. Rainbows used to be made by Rexair in Cadillac. A dutch heritage town further south is where some fine clocks and furniture were...

    The Ugliest Filter Queen?

Yellow cone filters? for a yellow rose state, but the ink was red from $3.5 million in fraudulent duplicate hospital contracts by one from there. So it also seems some filtered ethics are off kilter.

    The Ugliest Filter Queen?

I second that Kenny! It gets better, not that I have anything against brown, it's just a bland color for a vacuum.

    The Ugliest Filter Queen?

king and queens of the filters or the ugliest a secret. Magic basketball fans but only a single stage, dutch tech Orecks no more, liquid organic cleaner not, nor a voucher for a secret charter or societal deduction. Not a Bissel, but in the same area of fraternization. If I pay, I can play...

New Bagless Miele Blizzard CX1 is finally here

As I had guessed Mike, this can be a stressfull time of year. Some companies are closing quarters or fiscal periods. Someone I know found duplicate fraudulent contracts for a site recently assigned him, and had to adjust this quarters revenue. It's perplexing. The company paid thousands in...
