Serial number is 0091040, probably a mid production run made around 1977. That was the year this model was introduced. Another interesting thing it has is a 6 blade plastic fan!

Have to say this vacuum is in very great shape and condition. Just needs a little wipe up but no biggie at all. The bottoms in nice shape too. Forgot to mention I got this from a eBay seller who is also a member in this website. Forgot his profile name but it will come up.

Another great addition to my collection, a Hoover Convertible Estate U4103, the very 1st Hoover upright that features the type A bag system and I think the 2 speed feature. I won this on eBay for about $29.50 as my highest bid and I really like the bag design on this model and the color as well...

This is what I used for polishing my Convertible 1020. Meguiar’s headlight polish and my stepdad’s best power drill with a applicator pad. What do y’all think? Shiny enough?
