The Brilliant is coming along nicely!

Great job on the Brilliant! It’ll never look that good again and it’s with someone who appreciates how weird and archaic that piece of technology really is. [this post was last edited: 10/7/2021-09:31]

    Suffering from dry/cracked….

GRIPS? I wanted to pass on a little restoration tip I think (?) I came up with that I haven’t seen before. For Hoover handle grips made of rubber that are mostly in tact, you can use some 3:1 boating/RV clear shrink tube. It came out really nicely to preserve the rubber in place, and I don’t...

    Hoover Model 26?

This is what the original Hoover model 26 bag looks like. I can make a reproduction bag for it. I make a ton of bags for my own and some friends cleaners. Feel free to email me if interested.

    1931 Hamilton Beach restoration

Gorgeous machine, and the final result is quite lovey. I did have some set backs including accidentally twisting off the belt shaft. Oops! I was able to fix it with a properly sized bolt. The head was cut off and sanded smooth. Hope you enjoy! Lots to see with this rebuild.

1975 Sears ‘Finest’ Kenmore Kwik Sweep Vacuum

This is not one you see very often. Cute little Oreck type machine. Only took me six years to find a fan… lol. Was very dirty and gross. Many thanks to ChicagoMike (the nicest guy!) for doing the amazing powder coating on all of the metal parts. Kyle Kutlik (another amazing guy) gave me the...

    Another Hoover Model 700 Restoration

Thanks all! The old Hoovers are some of the most fun to redo. So well made, and a great final product after all is done with them! Brandon- the bumper is a 22” rubber tie down strap from eBay. If you buy like five or more, you get them for about 1.50 each. I could not restore some of these...
