Yes, but they're still great cleaners! If you tug on the hose at the wrong angle, the vacuum will lean and slump over on that side, prohibiting it moving!

John, every HOOVER in my house is treated to only the FINEST genuine HOOVER bags, my favorite is Genuine Hoover Allergen, that bag can compete with some of these new-fangled synthetic bags!    Lionkcommander, LOL I run generic F&G bags from the 80s in my one of my Eurekas!

The ends of the brush has settings to accommodate for wear, be sure both sides of the brush are on the same setting! 

I'm no expert, but it sounds like a seperator problem!      Has the rainbow cleaned up any wine spills lately? Perhaps the vacuum was just intoxicated when it spat water, or perhaps it's rejecting the water in favor of more wine?

I'm sorry, but they won't! The safety-switch (little thing that makes sure you can't run the vacuum without it's cleaner head or hose attache) was re-designed on the Heritage in 1981. the Classic III and the Legend II are a full 13 years apart! The Classic III hose will not activate the...

You're better off with the first one, attachments for the Legend II are everywhere! If you have a local Kirby distributor, they likely have a set in the back!    Are you really going to pay an extra $90 for grime, tarnish, and some attachments?

Dyson claim to be so advance, yet their vacuums can't do something a 1950s Signer upright can....Get under those beds!!!! 

they ASKED you to BUY their product, just to clean under the bed?! Wow, just wow. I would've put a power-nozzle on a Kirby before I did that, but who's to say that's not already in the works? 

Hi & Welcome! The cord is a replacement, as stated above. the original would've been maroon to match the trim of the Legend II.   The only other issue I see is on the back, the little orange cover for the POWER indicater light is missing.   Other than that, it looks like a good deal...
