Numatic Hetty with an extra surprise!

Great Video, as always Roger. I believe my Auntie's 2008 Henry came with the extra hose as well - but I haven't seen one since. I think Numatic should supply it anyway because it means you can leave the vacuum at the bottom of the stairs & get to the top - something a lot of people like to have...

    Hoover Vortex

The Vortex must be quite rare because I've only seen one of them on the car boot so far but it was in a worse state than yours & they wanted a bomb for it too.

    Vax Zen Pet

    I think we've made a trend super-sweeper.

    Vax Zen Pet

It's the same profile, I think it automatically does that.

    Hoover Vortex

Nice find, there was one of these on my carboot as well, but it was dirty & had a few bits missing. It's from the 27th week of 1999, BTW.

    Opinions on Vax Air3?

Thanks for that baglessball. I'll try one & buy it from somewhere I can return it if I don't like it.

    Vax Zen Pet

Just to add a couple of niggles I have found with the zen. Firstly, the bin does not open by itself. When you press the button to release the bottom, it gets stuck & requires you to pull the bottom off with your fingers & a couple of times my fingers have been covered in dirt. Secondly, the...

What are your opinions on the Vax Air3?

    Vax Zen Pet

Well IMO Vax's customer service makes up for that. They come with the 6 year guarantee.

    Vax Zen Pet

I think there are well over 1000 reviews for the Air Reach on amazon & Argos.

    The Pure Power of Hoover?

Dyson sued Vax over copyright to the DC02, not the DC05.

The Air Cylinder might be lighter but you can't remove the cyclonic system like you can on the Zen. I believe the same floor tool comes on Air Cylinders too.

    The Pure Power of Hoover?

If Hoover did put a bag on the freedom where the dust container goes, they would be doing what Eureka does in the USA with the Airspeed Vacs. They colour the dust bin in, so you can't see it, & have a bag that fills at the side. I could see thm doing that. Does anyone think Vax will bring out...

    Vax Zen Pet

I find the floor nozzle cleans well & is easy to use across the floor. Vax don't really promote this cleaner anymore. I think it has been overshadowed by the Air Cylinder.

    Vax Zen Pet

This is Vax's TOL Cylinder, the Zen. Vax's quietest, most powerful multi-cyclonic cylinder. I payed £111.29 on an Argos deal 2 weeks ago & have used it nearly everyday since. It's quiet, powerful, & comes with a full size turbo brush compared to Hoover machines where you have to buy it...

    The Pure Power of Hoover?

Nice too see some Bagged machines being reviewed. I would have always thought Hoover would just reduce the motor power in the Purepower, & not o anything else.

    Russell Hobbs

Russell Hobbs are nasty machines with whiny motors, they cost around £40-£50 usually but I have seen some sell for near the £90 region & that is expensive for what it is. Quite a lot of cheapo vacs are like this, but as the old saying goes 'You get what you pay for'. I wouldn't get one, & it...
