Hotpoint Trolley Vacuum's - New Motor Wattages

Yeah, it means that they have 450 Air Watts, that's from the Extreme Clean 2400w motor. Like mine says on it that it uses 350w but then says that it's 2200w, so 2200w - 350AW. But yes it is confusing.

    Hoover Turbopower 2

The lettering does look cheap compared to previous Turbopower models, but one thing I love is the fact that the hose & tools hide behind the machine, it makes it look nicer & tidier IMO.

    Hoover Turbopower 2

Yes I do remember seeing them in Littlewoods for about £50 once but I'm sure that was when the Turbopower 2 was on its way out. :)

    Hoover Turbopower 2

I bought this about a month ago, a 2000 Hoover Turbopower 2. After cleaning it up & replacing the bags, filters & belt I have used it everyday & it's brilliant. Great machine with good suction power & sturdy construction. Brilliant for a 1000w machine, last of the great Hoovers IMO.

    A parade of Fugglies.

Looking at those pics of the Z it does actually resemble a leg, complete with direct filter cyclone. Then The One, um, nuff said...

VAX Range 2014 - Eco Range

    Bissell C3

Just had a look on Bissell's Return Policy & it says that if you use the item & then return it they charge you for having to refurbish the item. Does that seem fair?

    Bissell C3

I'm gonna buy a C3, never had a Bissell vacuum before, see how well it works.

James Dyson: "The EU should spur invention, not mediocrity"

To carry on from what vintagerepairer mentioned about hard floors needing very little suction power, doesn't beko1987 use the lowest setting on his Miele for hard floors?

James Dyson: "The EU should spur invention, not mediocrity"

I HOPE that bagged machines make a comeback, bagless has ruled the market for way too long now, & it's disgusting how Dyson has a go at Bagged Vacuum Companies, saying that their ruining the world because of the fact that bags don't disintegrate! Of course they do! This is why I don't let...

James Dyson: "The EU should spur invention, not mediocrity"

Good on you, sebo_fan. I think it's disgusting how he drones on about no manufacturing in the UK hardly, then there he is producing his machines in the Far East! But people will listen to him because he is the creater of the wonderous Dyson that beats every other machines behind on the market...

James Dyson: "The EU should spur invention, not mediocrity"

Thanks for this. A very interesting read. In what way do vacuum cleaner bags loose suction? I have never used a bagged cleaner that has lost suction to a noticeable level. Sebo_fan can probably vouch for this, but vacuum bags have come a long way since being 1 layer that clog quickly. Many...

Talk to me about Henry vacs in the U.S.A.

That Wessel Werk floor tool is the best floor tool I have ever used on a vacuum cleaner. It also comes supplies with Vax's TOL Cylinders too.
