Are the poles all plastic? I like the Hound, don't like the idea of a green Henry though and the brushbar looks soft, and it's quite big for a power head

Had it from new in 1997 or 1998 and lasted till approx 2001 when it broke. Still worked though. It replaced our old Vax 121 which broke. A Hitachi bagless cylinder (very powerful, 1400W) replaced this, it blew up after 2 months, then got a Vax 6140 pets, lasted 2 years then got a new DC04 silver...

Brushbar motors

I don't know about the modern Vax machines, but the Vax 6140 pet we had and the 6131 machines come with a pretty good wash head, no brush just suction which is good for extraction on carpets. It also dispenses the solution and has a dial on it to stop the liquid

I love that too Emma, but the motors have a short lifespan :(

I do, but it's something that can wait, I am trying to find a decent Henry with an airo brush and a nice DC07. Besides I want a bagged handy (all original). Im sure it will sell, they always do and I was watching one for £20 excluding postage, it sold :(

My carpet lines get messed up lol, even the wheels make carpet lines and when I leave the vacuum on the floor for like a minute you can see the wheels and soleplate shape dug into the carpet ugh
