    local kirby dealer Check with your local Kirby dealer. My local guy charged me $75 and put on a new belt AND an NOS outer bag on my kirby 519. Don't get too excited guys , it was a newer version.

    Does anyone know the year of the featured Westinghouse vacuum of the day? Looks 50's to me. $125 was expensive. VERY cooool vacuum.

    Way to beautiful to leave behind- but to what does it belong?

    519 I have my Grandmother's all original 519 and the box, logo, red plastic blower are the same. The coupler is metal. My attachment box sadly is water stained from a hot water heater that leaked. :(

    EBay Hi! Good luck on your search. Besides Craigslist check your local papers for garage and Estate Sales. I have also picked up quite a few vacuums on garbage day. Never let a $8 Hoover [or ANY vacuum for $8] slip by again. The shame of it! They can make great parts vacuums.

    Easy to find I have one of these FANTASTIC original uprights. Replacement bags for these are easy to find. just google style UR or old Electrolux upright. Happy vacuuming!
